I decided to grab a drink while I waited for the takeout. I ordered the coriander and mint margarita. It took longer than I expected for it to be made, but that is due to the attention to detail the host put into making the drink. I was pleasantly surprised when the drink arrived. It had a great flavor- not too sweet, not too much alcohol. As for the food, I’m writing this before I have it. Although to be fair, this is the second time I have been here. The other time the food was absolutely great. I have no doubt this one will be as well.

My partner and I love this place–it’s one of our favorite spots in town. The food is delicious and authentic. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The interior has a nice ambiance and it’s usually not very busy. Definitely a hidden gem in Alexandria

The food was very delicious, quantity was also good. Staffs were friendly. But the place was not clean and it was so hot. They don’t have AC. They were running fans which is not adequate to make the place cool. It was so hot inside we couldn’t eat properly.

We love Indian food, and have also spent time in India; so we really enjoy when we find a great authentic place – this unfortunately didn’t hold up to it’s name. Their Mango Lassie was terrible, thankfully we’ve had it before and know what it should taste like, otherwise we’d never order it from another place. The chi was bitter and watered down, ruining a classice staple. The food, though small portions for the price, was just ok. We shared 3 different entrées [hoping for lots of yummy leftovers] and there was some good spice/flavor, but the overall dish(es) didn’t entice us to return.

The best around, from their vegetarian dishes to meat dishes and more. Always amazing service from the staff who are very kind and knowledgeable, fast service and a beautiful dining room. They have an amazing bar too! You MUST try the cilantro margarita, I wasn’t sure about it but I gave it a try since they said it was one of the most popular drinks – it’s one of the yummiest drinks I’ve ever had! Great recommendations!

Took a friend there who had never tried Indian food. Nitin served us and made the experience one to remember. He steered us towards their signature dishes which were out of this world good. Palak chaat in pic was delightful. Buttery chicken, lamb roganjosh, and carrot halwa were all incredible. Prices were very affordable. If you’re considering this restaurant, do not hesitate to try it.
