Buffet had lots to pick from, including many vegetarian dishes. Tandoori chicken, soups, Chicken Tikka Masala, vegetable korma, curries, noodles, cold dishes, naan bread and desserts (the mango pudding was AMAZING, and the Chili Chicken was superb).
Not the best Indian food I’ve had, but pretty good. Our son loved his selections–hubby wasn’t overly impressed (he says my Indian cooking is better ). Can’t beat around $20 for an all-you-care-to-eat buffet, tho. Interior is pretty basic–dark gray/black. Bathrooms super small.
Hubby had to keep going up for Pepsi refills; not once did a server ask if we needed anything (despite there being about 5 male servers available). They seemed more focused on an India vs. Pakistan cricket game on the TV…
Was nice to visit at least once, but it’s not worth a special trip IMO. — Janet

A great place to go for buffet. We tried their buffet before on weekdays but their weekend buffet is amazing. A lot of options to chose from, and all the dishes were really tasty. Lunch buffet was $20 per person, which is a little bit expensive but considering the variety of foods and taste, worth going there.

One of the softest lamb seekh kebabs I’ve had. Probably the best I have had in Pittsburgh. Definitely get this dish. I assume the lamb seekh rolls would be amazing too. I asked the kebabs to be well done and they were perfect. The chapati (whole wheat flour tortillas) seemed like they were made at home. They were so good, I got 10 chapatis for to go. I asked them to put less oil/ghee in them though. The masala tea was perfect and I had 2 of them.

Staff (Raman) was great, answered every and all question we asked. Buffet was really good. Very good selection and you can order anything else you want. The price was also good. We even ordered food to go. That’s how much we enjoyed it. We will come back for sure. Mango pudding was awesome and took mango lassi home with chili paneer.

Old oil used and foul smelling, completely unedible. The quality has gone down as I have ordered before multiple times. The lady who I talked to was very rude and said to get a refund from Ubereats instead of actually improving the Palak Paneer. Hope management fixes the food and the service. My order was placed at 1:35 pm ET, Nov 25, 2025 through Ubereats and was picked up.

Got their lunch buffet with some friends on Monday around 2PM. The chili chicken was amazing! I loved everything I got. Extremely high quality food and a nice variety for the price. You can’t beat it. I’m very glad we stopped here — highly recommend!!! Everyone was so happy with their food and the service. 10/10

We went when they were completely empty and it was just us in there. They kept the buffet stocked just for us, and the food was absolutely delicious! A great selection of authentic foods to try, and for a great price! If you’ve never tried Indian cuisine before and aren’t sure what to order, GO HERE and try out the different foods, you will not be disappointed. They had an awesome little dough ball type desert that was in some sugar liquid that was amazing. Wife and I really enjoyed this place and we will absolutely be going back!

For decades this has been our favorite Indian restaurant. When it changed ownership a while back, there was a marked change in the “hotness” of the food. These days, even though I always order mild, my orders range from perfect and delicious to so spicy hot as to almost be inedible. That happened with our order yesterday. I was looking forward to some Taj Mahal food, since it’s been a while. We placed our usual order of almost $100. Always the same stuff. First, instead of one order of Chicken Tikka and one order of Paneer Tikka, I got home with the order only to find there was no paneer and two chicken, and instead of “Mild,” it…wasn’t. The Lamb Seekh itself was ok. but for some reason the green bell pepper accompanying it was so hot as to be inedible. I realize that there is generally some heat in Indian food, but, to me, why bother with all the wonderful spices involved in cooking it when, in the end, all you can do is feel your mouth burning while tasting nothing? As I said, this is not always the case. Sometimes our order is pretty perfect. Other times, when ordering the exact same things and always specifying “mild,” I can barely eat it. Instead of an enjoyable experience, it becomes a trial by fire.

Today, my friends and I visited this restaurant, and I feel compelled to give an honest review. The management was incredibly poor — they seemed indifferent to the customers’ needs. Basic essentials like salt and pepper were missing from the tables, which is a standard expectation at any restaurant. The washrooms lacked paper towels, adding to the list of overlooked details.
Now, let’s talk about the food. It was, without a doubt, the worst Indian cuisine I’ve had in the United States. The dishes were bland, lacking both salt and spices. The naan, which should be soft and fluffy, was cold, dry, and so hard that it broke apart like a papad.
The majority of the dishes were barely edible. The gulab jamun, a classic Indian dessert, was dry and hard instead of soft and syrupy — a clear sign that the preparation was completely wrong. If the owner is Indian, I’d recommend visiting a reputable Indian restaurant to understand what authentic dishes should taste like.
Spending nearly $20 for this buffet felt like a complete waste of money. I’m genuinely shocked by any positive reviews this place has received. Based on my experience, I’d rate it a 0.5/10.
If you’re craving Indian food in Pittsburgh, do yourself a favor and try another restaurant. This place offers poor management, terrible service, and even worse food quality. Save your money and dine elsewhere!
