Amazing experience here. Absolutely loved it. Definitely coming back. The owner is the nicest human ever.

Ask for his special chicken. It’s legendary.

If you are craving Indian food in Oaxaca, this is the place to go. I ordered 4 dishes to share with my friend who is also vegetarian and it was perfect. We got daal, aloo gobi, chickpea curry, and paneer curry. We also got sides of jasmine rice, vegetable rice, and garlic naan. Everything was fantastic!

Highly highly recommend this spot.

It was a nice dinner experience with decent vegan/vegetarian options. The portion size could have been better for $120 and no meat or rice included. As being vegan the garlic naan without butter wasn’t garlicky and left a lot to be desired. The taste of the dish was delicious and the juices are very large which was nice.

I took a paneer curry and a garlic naan.

The curry was more oil than anything else!
The curry was only oil and tomato and 6 piece of old and gum paneer.
The quantity was sooo little, smallest dish i ever had.

The naan was cold and very small!

I never had such a bad paneer cury in my whole life!!!!!!!

The service was so bad too, i think they felt that i was supper unhappy and they didnt look at my eyes

And the most insane they charged me 175 peso instead of 145 peso!!!!!!!!

Never ever would i recommend that!

Great place. They have an all you can eat buffet from 12 till 7pm for 99 pesos. They have a looooot of vegan options in the buffet so pretty amazing if that’s your preference : curried veggies, lentils, chickpeas, potatoes in spinach (my favourite), dhal…
The owner is really friendly and welcoming. You can buy Indian spices from him for a reasonable price, a very hard thing to find here in Mexico!

We went here on our first day in Oaxaca. we were very hungry but as it was a sunday a lot of places were closed. This place was open and was kind enough to start their Buffet a bit earlier as that was what we wanted.
We were told the buffet had a few different vegan options.

The dishes that came out was:
– vegetable curry (carrot, corn and broccoli). This was sadly very bland and they used freezed vegetables.
– Yellow pea curry. This was actually very tasty and had a bit of spice to it.
– The third dish was Aloo Gobi (Potato and Cauliflower). Sadly this is were the rating drops as we found small pieces of chicken inside (marked in the picture). When we told the chef, she was very surprised and couldn’t understand how that could happen as she just prepared it fresh.
This leaves some questions regarding kitchen cleanliness.

Meat in the vegan dishes is just not acceptable. Except for that I guess it’s reasonable food for what you’re paying.

Nice place. I was surprised how big is the lassi, but unfortunately the taste wasn’t what I expected. Tasted like milk with water and a little bit of mango. Curry was good and the size of their portions are great.

Service and interior was also nice with an urban rustic charm
I don’t know what I am doing wrong, but I’m always waiting for the check for way too long. Must be a cultural thing. They wouldn’t accept my credit card which also was a disappointment.

As a vegan, this is the best meal I’ve had in Oaxaca all week! I ordered the Chana masala and had it prepared picante and it was so delicious and full of flavor. The service was very attentive as well. I will definitely be returning!
