Pretty disappointed with the veg curry. Nothing special, nothing noteworthy, almost added salt to it. Not what I would’ve expected from somewhere “authentic”. Also, this small amount for $15 seems high. I’d rather go to Rolls n Bowls for their curry. Naan was tough and just okay.

My family loved the food at Taj Mahal Indian cuisine. Both veg and non-veg options were great! Ambiance was elegant with artwork from India. We will definitely revisit this restaurant on our future New Orleans trips.

First time here and I am super impressed by how friendly the staff. Our server was very attentive and took care of us. I had the butter chicken with garlic naan and it was very satisfying and delicious. Definitely come check this place out if you’re wanting an authentic Indian cuisine!

How am I just finding out about this place? I went here on a weekday night and the first thing I noticed was the beautiful art on the walls. They also have some really unique chairs. This place is so cute.
We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive.
We tried a little bit of everything and man it was sooo good.
We got the lamb stuffed naan. Which was addictive. You can’t eat just one. We also got veggie samosas. They were pretty big and very tasty. That came with 2 unique and delicious sauces.
We got the lamb byriani. The lamb was so tender and the dish was really flavorful. We also got the tandoori platter. That was also delicious. It gave us the chance to try bunch of direct proteins with tandoori sauce. We also got the chutney which I highly recommend.
I had a mango lassi to drink. It was sweet and thick. It was really good.

Had a wonderful experience at the Taj Mahal for brunch today. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the menu was full of tempting options that made it hard to choose. I finally decided on the tandoori platter, which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Our server, Glorio, was attentive, friendly, and made the meal even more enjoyable. My friend ordered the chicken masala, and after tasting a bit of the sauce with some garlic naan, I can honestly say it was incredible. Everything from the service to the food was top-notch. I will definitely be coming back.

We came right before they closed on a weekday since our flight arrived late and we were starving. They were extremely friendly and attentive. Took our orders right away and service was very quick. We tried their special that comes with 3 different kinds of meal in one plate and rice separately and we shared. I made my own plate with all of them and enjoyed them all. Highly recommend this cute restaurant

I’ve never had Indian food and to be honest from all the TikTok videos I’ve seen in India I never planned on having it. That being said I tried Indian food for the first time and it was very good. I spoke to the host and he helped me decided what I would like. The hospitality was great. I will return for more food and quality service in the future.

Every time I eat here, I leave happy as a clam. Such a cute little place ducked behind Fleurty Girl on Metairie Rd. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. The food was wonderful. The Samosa app was to die for. The sauces that came with it were incredible. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and my friend ordered the the saffron veggie rice. It was sooo good. My Tikka Masala was yummy. The spices were perfect. I recommend this place sooo much. Try it and you’ll love it too!!
