However, we felt judged by the staff for not being dressed as formally as other patrons. This was disappointing, as we have dined at high-end restaurants in the past without issue. In addition, we found that some dishes had more sauce than meat, and were informed after ordering that the restaurant had run out of lamb. Although we replaced the dish with chicken, the inconvenience was noted.
We understand that we arrived right after the lunch rush, which may have contributed to certain challenges experienced during our visit. While the food was delicious, we ultimately felt that the overall value did not align with the price point. As a result, we have decided not to return to this establishment on future visits to Boise.
Please be aware that photographs of the main dishes were taken after the meal had commenced. It should be noted that the dishes were quite pleasing to the palate.
All of the dishes we ordered were delicious and perfectly prepared! Note if you want delivery they do go through a third party like door dash. We ordered take out with Door dash and our food arrived piping hot and perfect!
Service: We were a group of seven with a not too crowded restaurant on a Thursday evening. It took an hour from seating for all of the food to come out. The staff were friendly but the length of time was long. It was shared that all the food is made to order. While not en excuse, it was the feedback.
Food: We ordered a little of each including curry, the goat specialty, naan, and rice dishes. All of them came out hot and at the correct spice levels. Flavors were delicious across thr board. The rice was very flavorful and the portions were generous. Several came home with leftovers.
Environment: We were able to reserve a larger table in advance and it was not very crowded. It isn’t fancy but felt cozy and authentic. The do not have a liquor license, so its beer, wine, and sodas plus teas. It was easy to converse and there is also outdoor seating which is under a cover.
Parking: Street parking or using the parking garage. Easy access to the garage.
We would definitely eat here again, even if it was slower service. But the staff were friendly and the food very flavorful.
Lassi was in big bottles, so you get around 1.5 glass. Food had a good flavor.
only complain would be that there were belly dancers and their music was very loud. It was good entertainment but essentially couldn’t hear anything else.
