~*I wasn’t too thrilled with Taj Mahal Cuisine of India. The food lacked in spice and flavor. I understand they may be trying to cater more to the customers and such but bland food is not what you expect when going to an Indian restaurant. There was a lunch buffet. Several of the options need to be replenished.

The staff were beyond friendly! We didn’t realize we came in probably only 15 minutes until they close for lunch. We only overheard another customer ask if they were closed while we were waiting for our food. We felt so bad!!! But they never made us feel rushed, they didn’t act annoyed or frustrated with us at all that we came in so late. We would have never known if I didn’t overhear – that’s how kind and sweet the staff were.

We ordered from the menu and didn’t have the buffet. The food tasted great. The portions sizes were larger than expected which we really enjoyed. I recommend however take-out as the dining area was the only drawback. It is little dark and the hot buffet makes you feel you are in the kitchen.

What an unassuming delightful experience. There is a buffet that probably makes the most sense. The food is delicious and the staff while limited is extremely friendly. I wish I lived in cedar rapids so that I could visit here more often.

The food looked so good I had to try a little bit of everything! I love the staff! So kind! And even asked for our autograph haha first time going and HIGHLY recommend! The NAAN bread was my favorite! I loved it so much I couldn’t keep eating but still tried! And the Chair tea was *chefs Kiss*

I have been to over 200 indian restaurants nation wide. I had this place as delivery through grubhub. It ranks in my top 5 indian resteraunt in the nation. The food is authentic and the taste is perfect. I would very likely drive the 456 miles from my home to spend a weekend here in cedar rapids and eat here again.
