We had heard many positive remarks about this place, so we had to check it out. We try Indian restaurants wherever we travel. The nan here is some of the best nan we have had outside of India. If you like garlic, ask for extra garlic on the garlic nan. The curries we had were all delicious and flavorful. Our only complaint we had was the “medium spicy” wasn’t spicy at all. The decor is nice. We arrived for a Saturday dinner shortly after opening, and it started filling up quickly. There is inside and outside seating available. However, the outside seating is not covered. On our visit it was raining, so only the inside was used. Our wait staff were efficient but not really friendly. The food is well worth the visit. We will definitely go back again.

Amazing Indian food and service, we came here because we missed the taste of Indian curry back home in England as curry isn’t that popular in Spain and it definitely lived up to our expectations, the butter chicken and the samosas were fab!!

We stopped at this nice, friendly restaurant as kids were missing home food. This truly was very close to food from India. The customer service was impeccable, and the friendly staff made sure that the food was to our liking. They took pride in getting the feedback and made every attempt to provide us with homely food away from home. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great indian food. We ordered butter chicken, pakoras, dal makhni, and Chana masala and they were all amazing.

Very friendly service, little bit loud on the terrace because of the road next to it. The food was good, but I hoped for a bit more flavour (in other Indian places I experienced more of a flavour bomb)… Next time I’d try something else from the menu (we had the vegetable curry, garlic naan and samosas).

Spanish Indian fantastic, this was the case 2 years ago, 2022.
We visited again 2024, and we were very disappointed. Samosas very thick dry pastry and flavoured couscous, no meat of veg as ordered. Main meals equally disappointing. Butter chicken – more like a Indian sweet n sour. Chicken Sashlick on the sizzler arrived covered in lettuce, so there was no sizzle. 60/70mm chunks of very dry chicken and no flavour to the curry sauce. If this had been the first visit, we would not have gone back.

Amazing Indian food and great friendly staff. I have been using Taj Mahal for many years now and as a Brit who grew up with Indian Food this is the best I have tasted outside India where I have also visited many times! Authentic taste, super friendly staff, great accessible location makes this a great restaurant for great Indian food in Chiclana. Thanks to all the staff for always delivering on taste and service. Do not hesitate to go and try the Taj Mahal, you will keep going back!!!!
