This place is amazing. We have had many Indian food experiences here in Birmingham and Taj India is home to us now as it exceeds any expectations on Indian food. It is real, authentic, and unamericanized. We are so blessed to have been able to go to their opening in the new location. The restaurant filled up so fast shortly after re-opening and it was beautiful to see everyone’s outpouring of love for them . They deserve it. Shoutout to all the owners and workers who do an amazing job at keeping this place so great. We loved the other place but we know this one will bring many new memories ❤️❤️!

First time trying Indian food! We wanted to eat the buffet but didn’t realize it was only lunch but I’m glad we still stayed and the owner helped us order! I’m blissfully full and happy! Food and atmosphere was GREAT!

The owners were very nice and kind. They allowed us to sit outside on the patio area with a little dog, as we were traveling and couldn’t leave her in the car. The food was good. The butter chicken was a little spicy for my kids but they added some yogurt sauce to help with the spice. We were glad to stop for a nice meal and would recommend them.

Had the lunch buffet. It was fantastic and at a great price. I even took some to go for my friend, the food was so yummy. I can’t wait to return. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, and is almost in a conspicuous location, but when you go inside, it’s really pleasant.
