Just a beautiful yet authentic Indian cuisine restaurant. The entire restaurant was decorated beautifully to reflect the true Indian style and design. The music playing was Indian style, i really enjoyed it. My husband and kids enjoyed their meals, the flavor for each dish that we ordered was on point, perfectly balanced. The lamb chops were done to excellence!! They had antique candle holders at the table that I admired as we ate. Their portions were plenty and we had 2 containers left over. The servers were knowledgeable and friendly, catered to our every request. THIS SPOT IS A MUST TRY, OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Thank you for the delicious food and beautiful ambience

This place blew me away! I was expecting that food will be good but not that good!!!! Antonio our server was fabulous, he helped is make our choice easy and quick. This is definitely my favorite Indian restaurant. Butter chicken with fantastic, flavorful sauce and home made fresh Naan bread was to die for. Even the owner of the place came outside to make sure we enjoyed our food. I love Bollywood music so this experience was elevated by it and created such a romantic atmosphere.

Wow, was I disappointed last night !!!! We had been to Taj Restaurant before and actually enjoyed the food. NEW CHEF????? I did not want the buffet, so I ordered the Beef Curry from the menu. The service was a chaos, nobody new anything, by the end of the meal we had had three different waiters, not sure who ended up with the tip?????
I was asked by one of the waiters if I would like the dish mild, medium or hot. I said mild, because last time medium was really hot. I do not eat rice so I asked for a substitute and was told I could not substitute, REALLY, I am not able to get some of your already prepared (for the buffet) mushrooms or coleslaw? I guess Taj has not heard of the different allergies that people can have or different diets people are on? Maybe they/we should/can not go out ? OK !!!
So I am getting my food served and it is a bowl FULL of a brown sauce with 6-7 bite size pieces of meat; BUT a PLATTER full of rice on the side, which by the way I said I DO NOT WANT. Would you like some meat with your rice????? The meat and sauce did not taste ANYTHING like curry, I am not sure WHAT I ate. And now the topper: I was charged $18.00 for that…. what was it again? The Buffet cost you $20.00 and you can at least get COLESLAW or MUSHROOMS. Well my husband made the better choice I guess. Live and learn. I will sure pass this place by next time and find an Indian Restaurant that will accommodate their clientele.

I just recently ate at Taj and had the lunch buffet, though it did not have a lot of selection, the food was good, esp the chicken curry. I have never ate Indian Food so I did not know what to expect. Overall, I thought their food was tasty and I will probably come back. Not sure how I feel about Indian food yet, but after going a couple times, I’ll decided if I officially like it or not. Good service though, the workers there were attentive, cleared the tables every time we went back up and got more food.

This was my second time at their lunchtime buffet, and once again I was impressed at the quality and variety of food, and even more amazed the buffet cost only $12.99. Note that at dinner there is no buffet.
Meat dishes include chicken tandoori, chicken curry and butter chicken. All were done to perfection – hot, moist and tasty. there were many vegetarian options as well, including dishes dominated by okra, spinach, lentils, chick peas, mushrooms, potatoes and more. many condiments and chutneys, salad, etc. Excellent hot naan brought to the table.
Service was prompt & friendly as well. hard to beat!

My husband and I went to the Taj Indian Cuisine in Deerfield Beach for dinner on Sunday night. What a great experience it was. The quality of the food is so good and on another level. I’m not even over exaggerating. I had the goat curry my husband had chicken Tikka masala with butter naan and we were both satisfied with what we got, as a matter of fact, we couldn’t even finish our food, so we took what was left to go, so the portions are decent too. Will definitely be back! ☺️ Thank you for serving us nothing but deliciousness!
