This was a good Indian restaurant, I would definitely come back here. The stuff was very nice and very attentive. They were really good at keeping our drinks topped off and keeping our table clear of any dirty dishes. They would check on us every once in awhile to make sure we were comfortable and that our food was okay. They do complementary henna which was very nice. I will definitely come back here.

I had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant! The coconut shrimp was absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. The coconut coating had just the right amount of sweetness and crunch, and the sauce paired with it beautifully.
The watermelon mojito was incredibly refreshing and well-balanced. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the fresh watermelon flavor really stood out. It was the perfect drink to complement the meal.
Great food, great drinks, and a lovely atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back! We got our hands hem painted complementary!

Everything was delicious! They made the dosa vegan and it was so tasty. I forgot to take pics of the main dishes, but we also had Bhindi masala, Chettinad (chickpeas), aloo paratha, and mom had chicken korma (loved it!)
Service was quick, attentive, friendly, overall excellent. And presentation just couldn’t be beat – these cocktails are works of art thanks to Rupesh! We’ll be back soon

We go here often and as always food taste fresh and delicious. Good choices of alcoholic drinks and there service is great. Highly recommended if you in Fairfield area to stop by. Shrimp coconut curry is a must try.

Went out on a whim, and glad we did. The drinks were delicious and the decorations were fantastic, the food was delicious, and they even came over and did henna while we were waiting on our meal. I got the nadan chicken curry, and my friend got the chicken tikka masala, and they were both amazing. We will definitely be going back

Taj Indian Restaurant in Fairfield is absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious and full of authentic flavor, but what truly makes this place special is the staff. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and attentive — they really make you feel like family. The service was excellent, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. Went to dinner here last night with friends and boy was I disappointed. The butter chicken was a strange consistency and tasted bland which I’ve never experienced at an Indian restaurant. I felt like they used the wrong kind of chicken for the butter chicken too, as it was paper thin. The mango curry shrimp didn’t taste fresh. The naan was absolutely horrible and super thin. The service and henna was amazing, but it just wasn’t good food which is the most importantly part.

We love this place. I was just saying to my wife tonight that I’m so happy that we have a restaurant like this near us in the Black Rock Turnpike section of Fairfield, so I figured I should leave them a review. Every dish we’ve had here has been excellent. The service is very friendly and tonight my daughter got a beautiful henna while we waited for our meal.
