I went there for the first time and i ended up with terrible experience. Firstly, they serve the food from yesterday (leftover) because the taste was bad and smelly. Secondly, comparing with price, they serve less food. Thirdly, i told them i am fine with water and they charged me for the pops. Later on, refusing to return it back. In a word , Terrible , Worst experience. Never coming back again with no circumstances.

My experience was exactly what I’d hoped for a place called Taj Express. Fast and satisfying! They have a number of sauces to choose from and the two I had were very tasty. The restraint does have a small interior space, so grab and go is the style as opposed to sit down. I will be back when I’m next craving Indian.

Taj is run by the same owners as Namaste in Chesterton, and I’m glad that an Indian restaurant has finally made its way to Valpo! Taj runs their restaurant as limited buffet-style – you can get 3 entrees, rice and naan for only 10 dollars. This is a great deal, especially considering that they really pile all the food you can get into one takeout box. With the amount of food you get you can save for another meal.
VEGETARIANS – there is always a number of choices for you here – super refreshing!

When i walked in the i was welcomed with great smiles and greeting. All the food i orderd was so fresh and full of flavors. The naan bread so fluffy and soft. I love this place i would visit more often and recomend everyone to.
