Been coming here for many years. Always a hit especially for lunch with friends. Love introducing new people this place. Weekdays @ lunchtime can be quite busy because of the tech crowd. However it’s worth the wait. Always at least 30 options ready to go cafeteria style and more a la carte menu items. Come try for yourself and see why my family and I keep coming back here

I love Taiwanese porridge. Their porridge is incredible and my go to dish is quail eggs. Service is good though I have not dined in for a while. Though their basic service seems to be the same where you go up to get food and they come and serve to you or give to you. Would recommend if you want some good food.

Very good food! Feel like home. Varieties choice of dishes. Through Monday to Friday there is lunch special box with valuable portion and price! Really recommended.

The place is refreshing and the variety of dishes makes the visit worthwhile. They do have a lot and I’ll definitely be returning more than once. I must say though, since I enjoyed eating porridge growing up might be why I love this place.

Traditional taiwanese porridge! There is a display of pre-cooked items on the counter that you can pair with porridge or rice. It can get pricy depending on what you order but they have a good lunch deal with 3 items and porridge. We recommend the seasoned cucumber, bamboo shoot, compress tofu, eggplant and the basil omelet. Parking is a bit tricky and the area gets busy on rush hour or weekends.

Mixed feelings about this place, can be hit or miss but lately it’s been more hit than miss. Dinner is all a la carte but lunch has a combo special: pick three dish items (comes with white rice or container of porridge for an extra $1) for $8.99. Flavor-wise the taste is pretty spot on and the food is authentic but the portion size tends to be wanting.

Most comforting Chinese food ever. Traditional Chinese stomach warming delicacies, not too salty very healthy, flavorful, decently priced. Cash only though. Crowded popular place.

See hair in the dish, also they don’t give much meat in dish. Not a good experience to buy the lunch special.

When I first heard of the term “comfort food,” it was in relation to things like fried chicken, mac & cheese, ice cream, french fries, etc. I never understood this. Whenever I eat those high-fat, high-calorie, high-salt foods I always feel nasty afterwards. Perhaps those foods should be labeled as discomfort foods instead.
