10 people coming in here as a group for lunch is difficult. There are a very small shop work very limited seating. They had to bring out a fold out table for us. Between our group and all the walk in orders, some of us finished eating before others got their food. I think we overwhelmed them but they did a good job getting us fed. The bento boxes are good. So between the 10 of us recommended popcorn chicken, oyster pancake, wonton soup and the beef noodle soup. So several that’s got different bento boxes. I got the pork belly which I really liked my friend. Got the popcorn chicken , and then my other friend got the fried pork chop. Only three of us in our group have experienced Taiwanese food, one of them being a person who grew up in Taiwan. The other seven really enjoyed their feud and was happy we picked this place. I just like to point out we came on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and it was slamming here.

Let me just start this with saying I am half Taiwanese/ half Japanese. I’ve been to Taiwan multiple times in my life, this is the closest I’ve gotten to feeling like I am back there. The food is fire, you can take it to go, eat it there, it doesn’t matter it’s still fire. 10/10 will recommend, tastes like my grandmothers cooking.

I was very impressed with this restaurant/food mart. The bento boxes were affordable and delicious, clearly made with care, and brought back warm memories of Taiwan.
The dining area is relatively small, but I enjoyed the clean and easygoing atmosphere. The service was friendly as well, and there are plenty of vegetarian options too. I will definitely come again next time I am in Sacramento, and would highly recommend.

I was here having lunch with friends. We ordered popcorn chicken bento box and beef noodle soup. You can choose two side dishes for the popcorn chicken bento box, which are very yummy and the popcorn chicken is crispy outside and juicy inside. My friend told me the beef noodle soup is good. Maybe I will try it next time. Inside the store, there are a lot of frozen foods available, including meat balls, dumplings, etc. maybe I will buy some next time.

Delicious! I will be back! I wish they can make the steamed pork less salty and add some flavor to cabbage, so I give 4 star instead of 5 star. The bento box has some options for side dishes, I love this idea! Oh and they use purple rice instead of white rice, this is healthier

First time getting food from here ended up door dashing. I got the sausage bento with a mala and a garlic sausage, stewed egg and pork balls. Everything is great, the mala sausage had some good spice and the char marks on the sausage made them extra delicious. The pork sauce that is put on the rice is great. The prices are reasonable for a lot of food and the fact that their take out containers are little bento boxes is a great touch

Absolutely outstanding food. Flavor profile that is basically what you would find in Taipei. I don’t think I’ve had better outside of Taiwan.
Most items are obviously made in the back. Fried to order, popcorn chicken is exactly as it should. Moist very marinated chicken on the inside, crunchy light frying on the outside. A good amount of white pepper salt.
They have a few tables to eat inside but it’s more of a takeout place.

Very fast and friendly service. Best fried chicken in town. They have a pretty extensive menu considering the small size of the restaurant. Appx 4-5 tables inside.
