My boyfriend felt like sushi and wanted to treat me to dinner so I suggested Taipei & Tokyo so we could try their sushi and dine in experience. Like so many local Manchester restaurants their pricing is inflated about 20-30% higher then they should be based on quality. Overall the food quality was decent! The sushi and tempura gets a 7 out of 10. The sesame chicken gets a 6 out of 10. Atmosphere and service 10 out of 10. This is definitely one of the better choices for the area. If you are going to eat local this is a good choice! The only thing I recommend is not ordering the duck, I have had this on takeout and it was dry and over cooked.

To start, the drinks were amazing and the food was delicious and fresh tasting. The chicken fingers were crunchy and not your typical fluffy breading. I loved that. The best part was actually our server, Kevin. He went beyond expectations and helped my mom eat sushi for her first time! Set up her soy sauce and wasabi and made her feel comfortable. He made our experience fun and we hadn’t laughed that hard in a long time. The service and the food is what will bring us back there.

I’m currently at the place right now and it is PERFECT! the service is a 10/10! They got our drinks in less than 10 minutes..along with our soups as well. The coke wasn’t bland and it was really good as well as the miso soup, it wasn’t super salty nor super bland. I only give the food a 4/5 because I haven’t had the main meal I ordered yet as I just ordered it, but I won’t expect any different from the miso soup 🙂 would definitely recommend this place! Update: just got our food, it was AMAZING! And the prices were very reasonable. The staff were all friendly too 🙂 kudos!

Didn’t expect much coming in, but I was pleasantly surprised. Beef and broccoli, chicken and green beans, and sesame chicken were all pretty good. Service was extremely fast – we must have had food within 10 minutes of sitting down. My only complaint was that the chicken had some residual flour coating on it that tasted a bit strange, but otherwise it was a great experience.
