It’s another Daddy-Daughter lunch today. We went to @taipeichineserestaurant in Stone Oak. It was a busy lunch crowd.
They had lunch specials for under $15 and Daily Combos. Egg rolls, white or fried rice come with your lunch specials, and iced tea. I had asked Brooklyn if we could get lemonade for Dad for an upcharge but they wouldn’t allow the substitution. Dad had the Lemon Chicken and I had the Orange Chicken. We both didn’t finish our meal and took it home. The food was delicious but the service was mixed. What was cool was they had this robot server that brought the food to your table! Brooklyn was our server but we didn’t see very much of her. Alex, another server, kept refilling my tea. Olivia the hostess ended up getting a tea to go and the bill. Hopefully they all shared the tip.

Came in at lunchtime and it did not disappoint. Menu had a long variety to choose from and each dish came with a good portion at a reasonable price . Ordered the wonton soup with baby shrimp, the sesame chicken, and the orange chicken dish. Our order came in fast! The dine-in is pretty big, unfortunately I was unable to take a full picture due to everyone’s privacy. I did however take a picture of their menu which I noticed later I had gotten a terrible lighting. Overall great place! Will be going back for some more !

This was my first time trying Taipei, I was impartial to the experience. There weren’t many other customers there, so it wasn’t busy at all and we were seated & served quickly. The host was very nice and helpful; the waitress was kind of cold/dismissive at first but warmed up after a while. My Orange Chicken was crisp and juicy with a nice tang; however, my wife’s Chicken and Vegetables was bland. We were able to get the Early bird special so we also received an egg roll, crab puff, and soup. Those were all really good!

The Service your was fabulous because of the robot that brings you the food the food was delicious. lemon chicken delicious, chicken and vegetable delicious but I did not like the soups. I will come back to this restaurant.

I brought my Memory Care residents today and they loved their dishes. The food was well presented. Staff is accommodating! We really came to see the robot in action! The ladies wanted to give a 5 star review!

This place is terrible! The service was ridiculous and a joke. I think the robot waiter did a better job. The food was good. We had to wait forever just to get our drink order taken. Then we had to constantly wait to get a refill. The place was so dead so you would think the service would be quick. Nope. Then when it was time to pay. The guy at the counter took my card placed it on the machine and literally left it there instead of giving it back to me. I had to grab it myself. We will NEVER be back

Food was good. Reasonably priced as well. The serving sizes were good as well. Even the kid plates were a pretty good amount. The kids enjoyed the robot cat they had there. Overall great. experience. Service was awesome all around.

Food was horrible. Tables not cleaned before sitting us in it. Rice on the table. Walls of booths are disgustingly gross. The booths were filthy that we sat on. It’s OVERALL GROSS…. Food is a bust and the whole place is just awful and a TRUE WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

I have now eaten here twice. The food was delicious both times. The service is great and the kids loves the robot rolling around delivering food to tables. Most importantly their staff is honest and completely trustworthy which for me is the biggest thing. My wallet fell out of my pocket and didn’t realize it for a few hours they had my wallet at the counter waiting for me with all the cash still there! I highly recommend this place the food is great and you will enjoy it.

My greeting was parochial at best. I was seated and then not spoken to for about 10-15 minutes before my server came to the table. As I was considering leaving, the young lady came. (It wasn’t busy)
Her attitude was matter of fact and lackluster.
The food was hot and decent. However, I must say that it tasted exactly like what we get when ordering at an airport or mall food court.
It was my first time eating there, and I think their business model may only have a position for a cook rather than a professional. I think I was expecting the latter. So that’s on me.
I ordered the General Tso Chicken with steamed rice. I don’t remember what it cost me, so I may very well have gotten what I paid for.
