The ambience is classy with gorgeous attention to detail. The seating is a bit close knit, so prepare for an intimate setting, but the décor more than makes up for it. There are mirrors everywhere, something any woman can appreciate since it eliminates those mid date bathroom trips just to make sure you still look cute.
Service was quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. I ordered a Dark and Stormy, and it was delicious: strong, balanced, and crafted well enough that it didn’t taste like straight liquor, which I always appreciate.
For food, we shared the mussels and the Double Royal burger with fries. Portions were generous, definitely enough to split and still have leftovers. A lot of upscale spots tend to skimp on quantity, but that wasn’t the case here at all. And honestly, niche reference, but that burger might be the best I’ve had since the Carnival Cruise burger. It was that good. The mussels were solid too, but the burger absolutely stole the show.
Overall, I’d recommend this spot for cocktails with the girls or a cozy, intimate date night. I’m already looking forward to coming back.
The food was amazing across the board. We ordered almost everything on the menu (no regrets) and not a single dish missed. Every plate came out on point.
On top of that, the owner Heather and the staff were absolutely wonderful welcoming, attentive, and genuinely made the night better.
This place nails food, atmosphere, and service. Can’t recommend it enough.
Note that this place has dark walls and dim lighting, and the menus have tiny, script lettering. Which is to say that it can be difficult to read the menu; bring your reading glasses.
When one uses a credit card to pay, they add a 3% card fee to the bill.
The first photo shows their food; the second is from Kensington Palace Tea Room—an enormous difference in quality, atmosphere, and price. Perhaps their dinner service is better, but I won’t be coming back to find out. Overpriced for poor tea service and certainly not an authentic experience.
We had a valentine’s day dinner here and it was flawless start to finish! Entry feels like a cute bistro off-street, walking into a gorgeous and polished interior. The decor is moody, dark, and detailed to a formal romantic style with gallery walls and homey- euro feeling diorama. Seating is comfortable, and tables aren’t crowded. The music fit the space well too! We had the bread, beet salad, trout, and filet with a soft drink and a juice. They offer mocktails which is fabulous for us sober folks! And the bar is clearly capable of customs. The menu was concise without feeling limited, and curated perfectly by the chef and the kitchen team. Everything was plated beautifully, too. From the host, to manager Chris and our server Daniel, staff were poised, efficient, professional, and fun. They were the stars of the show. Details are not missed, we will be back and I’m telling my friends!
