The service is terrible. Bartender was crazy rude for no reason. Highly recommend ordering takeout from ANYWHERE else. Last 2 orders I got from there were wrong. Last time I mentioned it to the guy getting my order and he got pissed at me!? He went back, grabbed what I assumed was the rest of my order only to find out we were missing 2 of the 5 things we ordered. Save your time/money and order elsewhere.

Walked in, bartender looked at us and turned her head. Didn’t greet us or anything. Sat down, she walked behind us, looked at us, didn’t ask if we wanted anything or even stop walking. As far as the food… wouldn’t know, never offered a menu or even knew there was food available. Guess she was swamped with the 3 other custoners that had empty glasses in front of them.

I gave them 2 stars because they served me coleslaw that was on the verge of being spoiled. I told my server that she did apologize and offered to take it off our bill. A few minutes later she came back with another cup of coleslaw saying this one was made today. Why didn’t they serve me that in first place?

Ok, I did not go to tailgators, but I did go to Smoking Jay’s bar b q. And wow. Best brisket, hands down. Great services, large menu to choose from. This is my number one place to go to in fargo for bar b q and back yard food. Really can’t say enough good things about Smoking Jay’s. It is a must go to if you have never been.

Service was great, burger and fries were good. Place seems a bit outdated and felt very much like a “locals joint” though, but we didn’t feel out of place, and the bartender was attentive. I’d stop back in if/when we are back in the area for lunch again.

Pizza is underrated and should be promoted more– it’s really good. All the food I’ve had here has been above average. If you like to chat, it seems the bar is always a good place to be and the regulars seem nice enough to engage in conversation.

This is the 2 time walking in not being greated server was outside smoking on patio they new we walked in than stood behind the bar 10 minutes and walked away from bar server not working but behind the bar looking like she’s on the clock then getting chewed out when i said something about waiting for a extended time not happy Never coming back

Good service, but the food falls somewhere between poor and fair. Overall quality has gone way down since the business was sold to new owners. No weekend buffet anymore either.

No longer has the NFL Ticket. More of a casino than a sports place.
However, they have now started serving food from Jay’s Smoking BBQ and it is really good. I’ve had a couple different items off the new menu and I have really enjoyed the food.
