Update: We went tonight and my husband ordered the Churrasco Steak. It was supposed to skirt steak according by to the menu, but it was just a thin sliced sirloin. Very disappointing, especially for the $23 price tag. Also, I’d like to caution people to check their tabs. This is the second time the prices in ours haven’t matched the priced listed in the menu. The churrasco steak was rung up over $26 when it’s $23 on the menu. This is the second time we’ve noticed something has been run up incorrectly.
We tried Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill tonight and were pleasantly surprised! While it may be a sports bar, they also have a really nice area in the back with plenty of tables and live music.
The food was fantastic — we had chicharrones, fried yuca, and the Hurricane Platter with Dominican sausage, fried cheese, and tostones. For appetizers, we ordered the Santa Fe egg rolls and salt & vinegar wings, which were easily the best wings we’ve had this far from Tampa. Everything was made fresh, flavorful, and well-priced.
The service was wonderful from start to finish. The menu has something for everyone, from Spanish dishes to burgers, wings, and weekly specials. On top of that, the restaurant is veteran-owned, offers a 10% discount for veterans, and even has reserved parking for veterans near the entrance.
Great food, great atmosphere, and great service — highly recommend!

This place was quite a lovely surprise. We had a business meeting and we were asked to meet here. The staff was friendly and the restaurant is centered around the the bar when you first walk in. There is a game room with Pool, Vegas style gambling, and a few arcade games. The wings were awesome with great flavor and the daily specials are a good value. The menu is priced well and the place overall is a great hangout. I would definitely recommend if you are in New Port Richey and want a quick bite to eat.

It’s been a very long time since we’ve been to a restaurant/sports bar that had such a welcoming feeling for everyone (from kids to retirees)!!!
Zach (not sure that spelling is correct) is the new owner and was out working the bar and floor with his employees!!!!!! They were very busy and he still had time to stop and introduce himself to people!!! I was very impressed!
Our bartender was Brittany (again spelling may be off) was just an absolute joy with her wonderful attitude, friendliness and sense of humor!!! She is definitely an employee on top of her game!!!!
We went on a Wednesday night and they had a very busy night but steady and we in no way suffered a bad experience due to the number of people there….. it was nice talking to the tables near us and making friends or acquaintances!
I had the Mofongo…. Mashed green plantains with grilled chicken in a sauce with Onion Rings!!! My husband had the wings (15)…. He now knows that they are a great size and we took some home.
Also on Wednesday night they had raspberry lemon drop martinis for $5 …yes you read that correctly $5!!! They were delicious!
My husband had a $6 smoked old fashion and thought it tasted great also.
Go…. Experience it… I’m certain you’ll go back again and again!!!
And Duh…. I forgot to mention the many many many many very large screen TVs with every kind of sport you can think of playing!!!!!!

I’m not really a big bar guy but I feel like having a beer the other night and I stopped in cuz it’s local close to me. The bartending staff was on point. I ordered some tacos they were actually really delicious. I was able to chill and do some work on my phone. Wasn’t too loud for a Friday night. But there are plenty of people. It had a good atmosphere I’ll probably go back

Great new sports bar located on Hwy 52 near 19. Diverse menu with lots of tasty items. I had the chicharones with black beans and rice. It was outstanding. Wife had chimi sliders with yuca frita. Hers was excellent as well. Drinks were great. Owner, Brittany, was our bartender/server as we sat at the bar. Fantastic service and the place has a good vibe. Yall stop by and support this new local business owned by some lifetime locals.

Food is great, service a bit hectic lately w rapid staff turn-overs, but the games are all on and it is nice to be inside during both the cold and the heat. The Chicken Teriyaki bowls, many flavorful chicken wing choices and burgers are all keeping the regulars here daily. Not a place for local seafood, but way better than average bar fair food.

The food was phenomenal! I had the beef empanadas- so flavorful! The red beans and white rice was also very tasty! The food was better than most Hispanic restaurants I’ve been too! Hats off to the cook, it was a wonderful dining experience!!!

Hudson? We are in Hudson I’m impressed!!! Atmosphere A+, Dominican food, wings etc A+, Drinks A+, Bartenders Brittany and Maddie on the ball and make sure u don’t sit empty!!! Owner(s) very personable!!! Yeah definitely found a new bar close to home!! And KAREOKE on Wed nights…..Definitely be back and recommend checking out the new place 401k (Formally Dawns)
