This was an online take out order. I prefer my wings extra crispy, but these were not. There were no options online to select extra crispy. However, I must admit that the wings were reasonably sized for a late night snacking. The flavor, as expected for pub-style food, was quite ordinary. The sauce did taste like hot wing sauce from a bottle and did not tasted like mango habanero sauce. I’m unlikely to order again.

Ok. This review is mixed. Today was my day off so I happened to pop in twice to take a break from paperwork. I love this place during the day. Had great service. The baked subs are phenomenal. However, I went back later and the bartender literally had 0 care to acknowledge my presence and would rather talk to her friends/regulars. I left, not going to fight for attention, the gentleman to the right of me left as well and we went to bootys across the way and got greeted instantly. That bartender tonight, I would have fired.

I don’t know what happened to this place. They used to have the best pizza. We ordered a pickup and the pizza needed to finish cooking in our oven as the center was raw. On top of that whoever cut it needs training. Also, we paid for ranch and received half filled cups.

This was strongly suggested to me as the best for pizza and wings. I can say not in favorites for either for sure, but not the worst.

Pizza was run of the mill. Nothing special, simple pepperoni and cheese, that lacked much anything in the way of standing out in taste. I’ve had better frozen pizzas honestly, but not on the level of a Little Caesars at least. I’ve been told that the dine in was a much better taste.

Wings were solid as a chicken wing, but I can’t say that these were even sauced. Very dry wing in terms of sauce, but the quality was there. Disappointing but still a decent eat.

Overall I’d give a 3, with just taste pulling this down. Id be tempted to give it another chance, just not anytime soon. On a note, went I ordered online it claimed a 38.99 large 1 topping pizza and 20 wings, but I was charged when I selected that option and added my 1 topping. Only 2 bucks, but was annoying.

$70 for This? Completely Unacceptable.

We ordered $70 worth of food from Tailgaters Pizza and THIS is what we got? (See attached photos.) Burnt, unrecognizable, and completely inedible. It’s honestly insulting. We were expecting a decent meal for the price — instead, we received what looks like something scraped off the bottom of an oven and tossed into a foil pan with zero care or quality control.

This isn’t just a bad meal, it’s a complete ripoff. If this is what Tailgaters thinks is acceptable to serve paying customers, they’ve lost our business for good.

Tailgaters: do better. This is embarrassing.

Pizza was great. Lasagna not so much. Had to send it back, undercooked and totally too much sauce and barely any cheese. Have had some decent servers but the last one was the worst. Spent more time in front “talking” with the managers. She would walk by tables looking in the other direction. Never checked on us. My SIL pizza was late and cold. Had to ask someone else where the pizza was. I would refuse her if we ever go back which is sad because we like the pizza.

My friend hyped this place up but the Peoria location. This was my first and last time coming to Tailgaters. Nothing can convince me that the tater tots wont taste like straight oil and the baked sub isnt soggy. We were excited for the wings that turned out overcooked and dry even when it was drenched in the sauce. Also, if youre gonna have Guinness on tap, at least serve a proper Guinness. Our server was ok. We had to ask for clean plates when the food came (because why you want me to eat my pizza/sub next to all my wing bones) and had to ask her when the meal was over to refill our drinks bc after the food drop off she disappeared doing her side work. Ma’am you still have a table. Check in. Rant over.

Sunday afternoon ordered pizza and extra, extra crispy BBQ wings to go. The pizza is always great, but our take out order for extra, extra crispy wings, not so much. We were told they could redo the wings, which we declined. The Wings are in the oven at home crisping up as I write this.
We never have a problem when ordering extra crispy wings when dining in, but, not one of our take-out orders have been correct. Our receipt reflects extra-crispy wings not once but twice so I can’t grasp the difficulty of preparing an order correctly.
Hopefully, more attention to detail will be made in the future.

Had a baseball team in for lunch between games. Served 10 kids with all of their families. Food was all good and service and great. All our bills were coordinated by player number which kept it organized. Great place for large groups!

Tracy is the most condescending manager I have ever met. Turned a fantastic experience sour. She wasn’t happy that me and partner don’t like hot cookie dough. Maybe if you’re advertising half baked cookies you should probably have that listed on the menu if it’s says baked I’m going to assume cooked completely.
