Passing through Hope and we found Tailgater’s. I had the Chicago Hotdog and my wife the Chicken on Salad. Both were very good. The bun was soft and the 100% beef dog was filling, along with Hash Browns. The salad was plentiful and great. Service staff is very friendly and willing to make sure you have everything you need and come by to check on you. Good prices and very clean restaurant. Worth the stop.

We were recommended by Hampton Inn employer, were do the locals eat. That’s the question I always ask? Our Hamburgers were amazing, I also had fried okra, which was so light and scrumptious. The whole place is so iconic and the young ladies, and owners were even there to welcome their local customers and new diners. A must place to stop and eat in Hope, Arkansas

If you’re looking for a fun atmosphere, top-notch service, and truly outstanding food near the heart of Hope,Arkansas look no further than Tailgaters. We stopped by for lunch on our way to Hot Springs after my husband found them on TikTok, we arrived shortly after they opened and were thrilled to find the wait non-existent—a decision that paid off, as a line quickly started forming just 30 minutes later! This place is clearly a local favorite, and for good reason.
The atmosphere is a huge part of the experience. Tailgaters embraces an eclectically themed, old-timey aesthetic with loads of decor that is charming and instantly welcoming. It’s the kind of place that feels like a classic, comfortable hangout. Beyond the fun decor, the restaurant’s hospitality stands out: the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming making it a great spot for the entire family (including your furry friends).
The food was genuinely great, leaving us completely satisfied with our choices. My husband raved about his Jalapeno cheese burger, calling it one of the best he’s had—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. I opted for the Reuben sandwich, and it was exceptional: piled high with tender corned beef, balanced sauerkraut, and a wonderful dressing on perfectly grilled bread. Everything tasted fresh and crafted with care.Prices were fair I feel, everything is getting so expensive nowadays and we left not feeling robbed or that we overpaid
For visitors, the location is great. It’s easy to find, and we appreciated the hassle-free free street parking right across from the charming train depot. It adds a nice bit of local character to your visit.
Overall, Tailgaters offers a perfect blend of great ambiance, excellent service, and delicious, satisfying diner food. We highly recommend getting there right at opening to beat the rush!

Lots of automobilia and interesting items on the walls and ceiling. We sat at a table with a Ford pick-up tailgate as seats on one side. There were three other tables with pick-up tailgates . The food was really good. I had a burger and tots, as did my wife. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Very creative!

Went in there tonight and waited almost thirty minutes for our to-go order. The burger was delicious the chicken sandwich was ok but was small and didn’t have much meat on it. Thirty dollars for two sandwiches fries and drinks. Overpriced for what it is. The employees were very polite.

Very good burgers, in 1/2 pound, 1/3 pound, or 1/4 pound sizes. Comes with large cut fries or tater tots. Some of the booths have a pick up truck tailgate to sit on.
