My husband and I stopped by here after running some errands. It’s a sports bar, so there are sports decorations everywhere but not overwhelmingly so. I did chuckle at the Larry Bird poster in the entrance because my Dad used to be obsessed with him. You don’t see that in sports bars often, all shiny and new.
The service was phenomenal. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We were seated immediately even though there was hardly anyone in the place.
I tried the kale soup and it was good. I also ate the Tailgate wrap. It was good, but it could’ve used more meat. I also got the red sangria. I didn’t find it any different than other sangria I’ve had. It was good.
My husband has some wings with the Tailgate sauce, steak tips, and the Clown Shoes drink. He enjoyed them but wasn’t overly impressed.
This is a good place to drink a beer, order some appetizers, and watch sports. Everything seemed a little pricey, but I can’t tell if that’s from inflation or not.
Overall, it’s not a bad place to try. You might love it here.

Tried Sports Bar & Grill for the first time. Ordered takeout. Went with Nachos, Philly cheesesteak sub, Flatbread hot honey and a meat lovers pizza. Thought everything was okay. The Nachos come with a crema sauce on the side. The hot honey Flatbread comes with Pepperoni and ricotta with a drizzle of hot honey. It was okay, the crust itself wasn’t that impressive. The meatlovers pizza was a little bland and the sauce was light. I added some red pepper flakes and it helped. I’d swap out the hamburg for bacon. The wife got the Philly cheesesteak and like it. I gave it a try and thought it was okay. Great bar setting. Take out was picked up in the front. Food was hot, order was correct and on-time. Transaction was smooth. Will likely eat on-site next time and try something different.

Tried for the first time. Ordered a few pizzas fried mozzarella (frozen mozzarella sticks) and a steak sandwich. Pizza was very dry and lacked flavor and sauce. I was hoping for a bar pizza taste. It was edible but I wouldn’t go back. I walked in and there were 6 people at the bar. It took close to 5 minutes for someone to come to the counter to help me. I paid in cash and wasn’t given a cash discount like I read in a different post as something they offer. In fact I wasn’t even given my change just the bills.

In 39 years I maybe sent back 1 plate… Tonight was two, there were four of us, utensils were missing for half of the table, drinks made very inconsistently, pizza was very bland, menu was super generic with little character. Let’s start at the appetizers. Potato skins are okay, We ordered boneless tenders they brought us out wings. I ordered fried clam strips they weren’t cooked through they were lukewarm and mushy. Then I ordered a pizza to replace it, thinking who can mess this up. Crust was less than desirable and very little taste other than the pepperoni, it was listed as a hot honey with a drizzle there was none the ricotta was more of a cream cheese than anything. Another person got pasta, it wasn’t cooked through sauce was ok though. Another got pizza as well just a cheese but little to no taste on the crust but the sauce was something to work off of. The the tenders had little to no flavor to the batter. So all said and done I sent the pizza back and my original plate, we had to get up and go find our server for the bill, we get it and it has both meals we sent back on it. I’ve probably never been so beside myself with customer service in another restaurant. Why would the server even let that fly. … If that wasn’t enough the ladies restroom was out of order… I’d give this place a minute to figure some things out before an outing there. I’ll update after my next visit. Manager seemed very interested in what we had to say, so we will update after another visit if the service/food improves so will the review. Pull it together peeps, rikos was worlds better. This is disappointing.
Also weeks later no response from management and if you look at the other reviews that are positive is very Little to no context in them meaning they’re probably friends of the owners and/or people that work there. All around poor customer service this is coming from another business owner right up the street.

Even when our bartender specifically typed our entire order into the system in front of us… everything STILL came out completely wrong. We asked for a salad but it came out as a wrap. The most upsetting part was ordering an extra sauce pizza and having it come out with virtually zero sauce at all. On top of it all, the atmosphere of coworkers seems pretty discombobulated. When asking questions about beer and food we kinda felt mislead and confused by the responses given. Overall, this was my worst experience at this restaurant. Just want to inform others who are thinking of getting dinner here, plz don’t count on leaving super impressed.

Our server was Jaiden. She could not have possibly done a better job if she tried and she made great service look effortless and makes every other service we’ve had in recent memory looked like a joke she was amazing attentive on the spot with everything filled our water glasses without asking just everything was perfect and a joy to be around and this establishment would do very well to use her level of service as a model for the rest of their business. Bravo. And we are not sports people not in the least but we had a terrible experience at another local restaurant where the place is basically empty and they had us wait 15 minutes to get a table and that tells me they’re not ready to serve anybody so we left there came here and because of the amazing food and even more amazing service we’re coming back here. Tell your friends tailgates is awesome just come you won’t regret it. Enjoy. We most certainly did.

My wife ordered the fried clams. She said they tasted off. She never complains about food or asks for it to be taken off the bill.
Server took it upon herself to have it taken off.
Great customer service. I had the pizza. Crust unlike any I have had around. Light but crispy and chewy at the same time. Would definitely get it again.
Wife also had the potato skins. Made thick here. Very tender and not dry at all. Not the kind she is used to but very tasty.
Can’t say enough about a place that cares to make things right when the food is off. Will definitely come back. And how can you go wrong with a $5 tall Downeast Cider!
