A cute restaurant that my kids have always wanted to check out. A good selection of ramen, rice bowls and drinks. We ordered the Salmonopoly poke bowl, fried dumplings, roast pork rice box and the tonkotsu ramen. Delicious food, but a little on the small side for the price. For drinks, we ordered the jasmine milk tea, green apple smoothie, and the chocolate Zang Zang special, which was made too sweet. What surprised us was that one of the servers gave us tokens (the number depends on how much you spend on food) to play the claw machines which the kids enjoyed, and made out with a prize from one of them. So don’t forget to ask about the tokens if they don’t give you any after picking up your food from the counter!

Since Mitsua is so close, it’s going to be very hard to beat their Japanese ramen, I thought. But I was wrong. After trying a meat bowl, I wanted to come back and try other things. This time we tried a Japanese ramen and poke. Both food were full of flavors and fresh. For poke, I could choose 1, 2, or 3 protein and I could totally customize other free ingredients. There were so much food!
If you spend a certain amount of dollars, they also give you some token to play the claw machine, which was fun. Bubble tea was good, too!

Not bad, but I prefer other ramen places for the price.
I tried the truffle ramen here, which was $17. The amount of noodles in the bowl was reasonable – not too much, not too little. I feel like the seaweed may have overwhelmed the truffle flavor a bit, so I would omit the seaweed if I try it again. I asked for spicy paste on the side, allowing me to control the spice level without further overwhelming the flavor. Finally, I selected beef for my protein choice, and received tender, flavorful slices of black pepper steak atop my bowl. This was one of the best parts of my dish.
My husband got the tonkatsu ramen, which he liked fine, but again, we have other options we prefer for tonkatsu ramen when it comes to value, quantity, and quality.
The bubble tea was not bad. I got the Passonfruit “Infruit” Tea with lychee jelly, and it was as tasty as anywhere else, and plenty big.
The best thing about Taichi for us is proximity to our house. Definitely more convenient to visit than some of the other “destination” ramen places we might go to.
You place your order at a touch screen, pick up your own food from the counter, and bus your own table.

My first time checking out Taichi Tea ordered their Taichi Original Milk Tea with Red Bean and Pudding and Chicken Dumplings light and tasty truely enjoyed the Milk Tea

Okay so I went here with my friends today. It is a really nice place. The food is really tasty. Probably the best sushi I’ve had, ever. Also the claw machines were fun!

Drove from Schiller park to get here was super excited I ordered a coconut milk boba tea and a customized sushi burrito I was so upset I payed 21$ for it all, the coconut milk tastes straight up like water I made my boyfriend and mom try it as well to see if maybe it was just me… and my burrito was overall pretty good except for 3 add ons that were missing that I didn’t get to enjoy it. Would not recommend their boba I seen other reviews about their boba teas didn’t think I would experience an issue I wanted this spot to be good since it looks so cute and welcoming. Can not believe I just spent 21$ for both of my items to be this bad

Beautiful atmosphere, spacious, clean, rapid service. The food AMAZING! It says “spicy” and they mean it! I love that because other spots says spicy and are not spicy at all. Ordered the spicy mala ramen and the miso ramen in “extra spicy”.

Absolutely love the Mala Spicy ramen which is about 75% as spicy as the standard mala soup but perfect for my heat tolerance. Just have them skip the Jalapeños which can be opted out at the kiosk.
Its super flavorful and the charsu pork version is my goto.
Pairs well with their lemon tea drinks.
Also this is a counter service shop so if u are in a hurry, this is perfect.

The selection of flavors is so large they have a great layout. Seating area is huge for a boba shop. They have two kiosks for the socially anxious people. The cashiers are friendly tho. Drinks are a great price definitely will be back to try more flavors and ramen.
