This is a hidden gem I recently discovered. The food is incredibly delicious and the service is amazing. They go above and beyond. The owner/chef even came out to make sure the meal was being enjoyed. Been back a few times in the last couple weeks! It’s not easy to find a good Chinese restaurant. I actually hadn’t had Chinese food in years bc I gave up on there being anywhere good to go. A friend insisted I give it a try and I’m happy she did.
I had the Shrimp Chow Mein – SO good, and the tofu with veggies and rice (not on the menu but shown in a photo on the 1st page of the menu) My friend had the Chicken Soo Guy from the all day menu which included an Egg Roll, Fried Rice & Wonton Soup. There was plenty to take home.
I highly recommend this fabulous restaurant. It’ll quickly become one of your favourites too!

This is the third time eating here. We typically drive to the west side for authentic
Chinese food. My husband and I do not like Westernized Chinese food. We make sure to ask for traditional Hong Kong style food. I love the sweet and sour chicken, Cantonese chow mein, and Singapore noodles. We got an order of beef Hofun to go and it was also very good. The owner loves to cook and is very polite and kind. I prefer to eat in as everything will taste better hot and fresh.

Taiyan Palace on the east end was amazing! We had the Hong Kong chow mein, shrimp with pea pods, sweet and sour chicken (HK style), and spicy seafood — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and served in large portions. The shrimp were juicy, the veggies perfectly crisp, and the sauces just right.
The staff were super friendly and made us feel so welcome. Such a great spot for a tasty, satisfying meal. Highly recommend — can’t wait to go back!

Always an amazing experience when coming to Tai Yan Palace. The prices are affordable especially at lunch – where else can you get a full meal for $10 or less? Service is great, no matter what staff member is working the experience is always friendly and fast. The chef is very nice as well and sometimes comes out to make sure you are enjoying your meal. This is our favorite spot in Tecumseh!!!!! Everything tastes fresh,yummy and affordable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Every time we go, we try a new dish. Our favorites so far are beef dumplings, wonton soup, chicken with veggies and the noodles with beef and soya sauce. For more and more of success keep it up.

The restaurant itself is definitely out of date. The waitress was very friendly and kind. The beef dumplings were delicious. I ordered the chicken soo gai, and my sister ordered the spicy chicken combo. My order was quite good for its price, but the spicy chicken was very salty. They should add less salt to the dish. Everything else was alright. I’ve ordered the spicy chicken combo before, and sometimes it’s delicious, sometimes it’s too salty to eat. There is problems with the consistency of the food, but would recommend the soo gai and beef dumplings. Overall, the price for a combo is good. You get a soup, a beef dumpling, an egg roll, and a fried wonton wrapper. (We ordered an extra side of beef dumplings and egg rolls)
EDIT: My boyfriend and I come once in a while and the food is still great for its price. The service is also just as friendly and nice. This time, we ordered the lemon chicken combo which came with a wonton soup and an egg roll for $15.99 plus tax.

Ordered food for New Years Day pickup 5pm.
They could not find my order as they had wrong phone number on bill….every number was wrong.
Food was cold and portions have shrunk considerably.
Does the Health department know takeout food is left just sitting out on a table top and not stored at the proper holding temperature?

We saw someone post on FB about this place. We drove from across town and I glad I did because it was very good. The service was good, and the owner kept checking up on us and making sure we were having a great experience.
