12/28/2025. Food is ok. Most expensive burrito I’ve purchased. ♂️
For drinking I had a cucumber twist. I liked it.
Atmosphere was cool, Dj had bangers and the design overall is good. Music sound is crisp
The location forces you to park VIP. The back lot is mainly all they have and they reserve it for VIP. It’s massive. It’s like going to a Walmart and being forced to pay for parking. You have two streets to park on the curve but I’m sure they were manly taken by staff since they were all taken up and the place was relatively empty.
Mineral deposits on cutlery. Menu looked like folded up homework.
Influencer recording for social media sharing during business hours. His lack of awareness. I’m here to eat and drink, not be recorded while doing so.
Lastly, outside they have two doors with mirror panels. It’s a spot used for taking pictures. My aunt and I witnessed three couples taking pics. Out of nowhere the door swung heavily and hit one of the guys in the back of the head and cracked a panel. The guy was literally dazed. Made us wonder what else is loose here hanging over our heads and I don’t even think he was approached by the manager about this. Serious lawsuit waiting to happen.
My review was based on small details. The place has potential

Been wanting to go to Tago for a while, and I’m glad we finally got the chance. Atmosphere was top notch. They had 2 different DJs playing fire music throughout the night. The food and drinks did not disappoint! I tried the dragon fruit Rita and spicy Rita which were both solid. My wife tried the cafe de sol – their version of the espresso martini and it was really good as well. We had a party of 8 and they were really accommodating, service was great and fast. Definitely recommend the ribeye and the pasta, great portions. The lobster tacos were our favorites appetizers but everything we had was delicious. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Tago. The experience started with a really nice hostess who was warm and inviting. Our waiter Cole was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations on both drinks and food. The food was flavorful and cocktails were thoughtfully crafted! We will be back and would love to try their brunch/ lunch soon.

Honestly, this place is a solid 6/10. The vibes and aesthetics are cute, but the service is noticeably subpar. My birthday guests weren’t escorted to the table and were simply told to ‘go to the back,’ which already set the tone.
The food service was just as confusing. Only one appetizer came out, then about 10 minutes later the rest of the table received their entrées before the remaining appetizers. I’ve never experienced a restaurant serving entrées before completing the appetizers—let alone within minutes of each other.
The menu was also unclear about sides. When asked, the waitress used ‘and,’ implying three sides were included, but in reality only two sides were available. ‘And’ versus ‘or’ matters, especially when you’re ordering and paying. Overall, cute spot, but the service needs tightening.

Atmosphere was great! Food was delicious! Bartender was awesome but once we was seated, waitress wasn’t that friendly and kept forgetting drinks but I will definitely good back because food was that good and she might have just been tired. Lol

Our visit was with a group of 20 guests. We were accommodated, the service, drinks-I recommend the semilla de passion and food was great! The setting of restaurant is elegant with great music for the occasion and group. The transition from an early gathering to the evening setting was smooth, enjoyable and made it difficult to leave the fun. If you have a special occasion, night out, drinks and/or entertainment Tago is the place to go!

20% hidden service charge not appreciated. If we were in Miami, this would make more sense because we’d expect it, but we’re in Houston. Service was great at the bar. So, I’m down because I don’t know if our bartender is getting the 20%, or the dancers, or the saxophone player, or the restaurant. Food in my opinion was OK. Nothing to write home about. Vibe was cool and different but not worth the extra 20%. I almost never write negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share.

The aesthetic and vibe make you feel like you’re on vacation, in a fun and relaxing way. We celebrated my husband and best friend’s birthday here and enjoyed the food, drinks and service. The DJ’s playing all night had great tracks, we will definitely be back again!

My friends and I had the best time at Tago! From the food to the aesthetics I don’t drink so I had a Mango mocktail and it was cute and tasted amazing. I’m surprised this isn’t the most busy restaurant in Houston well I did go on a Thursday night so it might lol. But this was my first time here and I really enjoyed the food and the customer service was even better. Definitely would recommend them.
