Great halal Filipino food! They also serve halal pizza and burgers, which is a nice bonus. The service is excellent, and the environment is clean and welcoming. Definitely worth visiting again

Really enjoyed the cooking by Chef Caloy and his flexibility in modifying the dish to my liking. I went with the beef lumpia and Tapsilog breakfast dish and it was very good! Will be back to try more from the new menu!

I really missed Tagpuan on Capitol Trial (which closed), but I’m so glad it’s back! The new menu is Halal, and while I don’t eat Halal and was afraid I’d miss the tasty pork dishes, the owner and chef has done an incredible job updating the menu! The sisig uses chicken and crispy fried chicken skin instead of pork and pork skin, and it is just as tasty as the original! The Bicol express has amazing flavor, and the beef in it is some of the most tender and succulent you’ll find. The owner is super friendly as well, you can tell he is passionate about his food, and he loves to chat about his cooking. I can’t recommend Tagpuan enough!
