This place is really hard to find unless you know it’s there. Definitely a locals spot. Place was packed on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The staff said hello to everyone coming in on a first named basis. Everyone was so friendly. The food was good. I had a sausage omelette and hash browns. Couldn’t even finish it since it was such a large portion. Prices are very reasonable.

I usually meet a group of friends at this Cafe every Friday morning. Consistently. Good service friendly waitresses. Their egg breakfast with toast and bacon and coffee. It’s right around $12. Very generous portions. Plenty of parking but it’s in an office building so it’s easy to miss. You have to look for their sign right on Taft Street. Clearly labeled Taft Street Cafe.

OMG! My husband and I first time there. When we walked in we got the best welcomed Greeting from the waitresses and Staff. And the food was just amazing. Everything was big size portions. I barely ate half of my food. Far as our service, it was wonderful. Ms Valarie was super wonderful. She was nice and friendly. We loved her customer service. We will be revisiting again.

Really friendly service and great quality food. We usually go to chain places for breakfast but the prices keep going up and the quality does the opposite. We happened across this place and it truly is a hidden gem. The omelettes are very filling and they are very reasonably priced. My husband and I spent $20 for breakfast and that is including drinks. We are low to no carb and they accommodated us on everything. This is our new go to spot. The prices and quality just can’t be beat and the servers are very friendly. Its a homey place. Give it a try even if its a challenge to find it 😉

You’d never know it was there until you pass the sign. Once you do though you continue to return. The staff is consistent and remembers your drink order, or that you like extra napkins, etc. the food is always delicious, never a long wait even when they are slammed.

I’ve had enough paying $25 for two scrambled eggs on avocado toast. The family and I stumbled into this place (actually had to search for it because it’s in what looked like a closed office building) and we are happy we did. The place is kind of like a time capsule from the decor to the wait staff and the prices.
Reason for the 4 stars is that some of the stuff that doesn’t get much attention seemed a bit dirty, like the blinds.

A little tricky to spot. It’s on the corner of the back office building. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, Sausage patties and home fries lacked flavor. We doused the potatoes with salt, pepper and ketchup and they still lacked flavor. Tho I enjoyed the crispy part of the potatoes . Coffee was good. Wasn’t impressed ☹️

I didn’t expect to be here for almost 2 hours. It took almost 20 minutes before they brought a menu. And after they took our order, it took 45mins-1 hr to get our order. The food was great but the wait was longggggg. The waitress said they had 2 cooks on but it was def not enough cooks for today.

I had an amazing experience at this hidden gem. Everything was absolutely delicious and our server Valerie was nice, kind, and patient while taking the order.
The place has a 70s -ish, tradicional American vibe from the decorations to the menu.
The food was out in no time, and it was a great amount for the price paid.
I’d definitely recommend it to anyone! And will be back to try the lunch menu.
