For over 30 years, DC’s Sportsbar and Steakhouse has been a beloved spot in Eunice, Louisiana, known for secret family recipes and perfectly boiled crawfish. In 2014, we brought a taste of Louisiana to Katy, TX, launching Seafood on the Geaux, serving fresh seafood and Cajun favorites. When crawfish season hit, business soared! Inspired to share even more authentic Louisiana flair, we created TaD’s Louisiana Cooking. Combining Cajun roots and homestyle cooking, TaD’s offers an expanded menu, a cozy atmosphere for game day, and convenient pick-up options. Dine in, enjoy the patio, or sip a cold drink at the bar. I was visiting Texas and craving a real Louisiana taste, and this spot did not disappoint! I ordered the shrimp po’boy and it was amazing. The bread was super soft, the shrimp were fresh, and they definitely gave me my money’s worth.
My fiancé had the catfish po’boy, and you could immediately tell the seafood was fresh. It was lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly. He also tried the gumbo—added a little dash of seasoning—and he really enjoyed it.
Our waiter Kash, was very attentive and super friendly. He checked on us throughout the meal and really made sure we were taken care of. The place also has that true Louisiana charm—the decor honestly reminded me of being back home.
If you’re looking for authentic Louisiana flavor while in Texas, this is definitely the place to stop!

I’ve been to Tad’s in Katy a couple of times and both experiences were very nice! The staff are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food is amazing and fresh. The ambiance is a “gathering place” Vibe. My family and I ordered different dishes from the kid’s shrimp meal to the etoufee catfish sandwich (may not be the exact name on the menu). The portion sizes are very generous, including for the kid’s meals. We were not all able to finish our meals in one sitting. Our only recommendation is to bring back the rewards program we heard about because we are definitely repeat customers at this point

I am upset that I did not take photos of our food. The boudin balls were huge. Well flavored and juicy. The catfish bites were well cooked and seasoned. No fishy taste at all. The shrimp were a good size as well. We received good service from our waitress and hostess. I will go back next time I am in that area.

Tad’s Seafood Restaurant exceeded all our expectations! We came for the all you can eat catfish and bang bang shrimp, and every bite was absolutely delicious-fresh, perfectly seasoned, and piping hot. The catfish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, while the bang bang shrimp had just the right kick.
What truly made our experience unforgettable was our server, Jordan. Jordan is hands down the best server ever-friendly, attentive, and always anticipating our needs with a smile. Our drinks were never empty, and he made sure we always had fresh plates of food coming our way.

Had the fried alligator, jambalaya and it was outstanding. The crawfish bisque was amazing—rich, flavorful, and cooked just right. Even though it’s early season and the crawfish are on the smaller side, they were still excellent and perfectly cooked. Everything on the plate was spot on.
The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is great, and the beer is ice cold. Love coming here—always a solid experience. Cali, our server, was amazing to talk to and did to notch job. 5

Very impressed and pleased with this location! First time stopping in for lunch and made it for happy hour! Bartender Rachel was so so sweet and our server Destiny was a gem! The chicken fried chicken is better than Lubys Y’all, and everyone in the restaurant is all smiles! Highly recommend!

Staff was friendly.

Gumbo felt like a soup, there wasn’t any thickness to it at all. Btw, the bowl size was larger than I expected, like a small bowl of pho kind of big if that makes any sense.
Fried Catfish was pretty good, fries nice and crispy.
Blackened shrimp alfredo was fine as well.
Overall I think the food is alright, just a tad on the saltier side. (pun intended?)

Unfortunately, my experience at this establishment was extremely disappointing. The service issues stemmed primarily from the manager on duty, Burnett, whose demeanor toward customers was unprofessional and dismissive.
My family and I ordered crawfish for two adults and pasta for our child. The total bill was $130. I left a $10 tip on my card and an additional $10 in cash. After reviewing my charges, I noticed my card had been charged twice with two different amounts, so I asked for clarification.
Instead of resolving the issue appropriately, the manager suggested refunding the entire ticket and having me pay again, even though the charges had already posted. I declined and informed her that I would contact my bank to resolve the matter. Throughout this interaction, her attitude was unacceptable and added unnecessary frustration to an already concerning situation.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the dining area was below standard. The seats and tables were visibly dirty, which further detracted from the overall experience.
As a business owner in the food industry myself, I understand the importance of proper leadership, cleanliness, and customer service. Poor management and lack of attention to these details can significantly impact a business’s reputation. Due to this experience, I will not be returning, and I will share my experience with others.

Jordan was incredible, fast, attentive and sweet. He had refills when our drinks were not even half way gone, food was hot and fresh. We got all you can eat crab legs and he brought new crab legs out every 10 mins. He brought to go drinks without us asking, and brought boxes immediately. Best Shirley Temple I’ve ever had.
