Food was horrible. Everything was just edible at best. Like everywhere I go I leave a review and order a plethora of menu items. I can’t believe people are returning customers. Service was standard.
We ordered:
(9) Mini tacos on .99 Thurday-Tortillas rubbery, meat rubbery, stale, no flavor seemed like everything was just sitting or a day or 2 old. Chicken dried out, pork was the best of the worst. RATING: HORRIBLE.
(1) Steak Gordita: The steak was tender. The corn meal cakes were good. Toppings were standard. RATING: OK.
Enchiladas: Comes with 5. They were HORRIBLE. Enchiladas are my favorite Mexican dish. These were the worst I’ve had in 40 years of life. The same rubbery dried out chicken was in these and not the traditional shredded chicken. The sauce was dry on the horrible dry rubbery tortillas. They were dry all around. I believe that microwave enchiladas in the frozen would have been better and they are gross!
(2) Tamales: 1 chicken, 1 pork. They were okay. I’ve had much much much better tamales. Like everything else, they were also dry but the pork had flavor at least. They tasted old, not fresh.
(2) Aqua Frecas: 1 peach, 1 papaya. The peach was better of the 2 but neither were amazing. Just drinks le at best.
Green salsa, better than the red. Neither were amazing like some I’ve had.
Tables were clean in some areas. The napkin holder was filthy. Didn’t seem like the place gives much attention to detail or quality in any regard.

Tiny Batch Bakery
Went on Thursday for $1 taco Thursday. I tried allll the flavors and they were very yummy. My favorites were Al Pastor and carnitas. I also got my husband the shrimp plate, huge portions!
Btw… they also make their own tortillas and it comes out warm and so fluffy!

Walked in thinking “basic re-heated mexican joint”. It was so BEYOND good, I ordered three tacos, contemplated, browsed the menue and tried more things.
It’s probably the closest to actual authentic Mexican food in Kannapolis.
Very inexpensive, very delcious, very homegrown. 99 CENT TACOS EVERY THURSDAY!!! .Traditional flavors, menu items and just atmosphere is simplistic, you come here to get the food. Compared to others in the area (not knocking them) these guys are doing it the best as of right now.

My husband and I LOVE this place. We have a friend that lives close by and told us about their dollar taco Thursday . THE BEST AUTHENTIC TACOS! And how can you beat that price, we would definitely go other days and get other things on their menu bc they are THAT GOOD! We have also gotten their tortilla packs to go and they were delicious! And very reasonably priced.
