Politely informed one of the staff members that the Dr. Pepper fountain was spraying soda everywhere. She walked over and reattached the fallen spout. I also showed and told her that the other Dr. Pepper fountain was pouring clear soda that had a strong gas odor when you smell it. The soda was clear and she said she would go to the back to do something about it. She never returned, so I went up to the counter where she was with her Manager/Supervisor (I believe), and let her know that something was wrong. She replied in Spanish and basically blew me off that it would be fixed. I never saw them attempt to fix it and they never apologized or came back to my table to give me an update or offer any type of solution. The Manager just returned to socialize with other staff at the bar/counter. I had to drink Cherry Pepsi instead as I cannot let my meal get cold due to her lack of action. This was the Manager/Supervisor who I interacted with. Very poor management and customer service skills. Might not be returning to dine in at this establishment during my work lunches. The cashier at the time was the only polite and helpful worker. I didn’t catch any of their names. Also, no napkins at table.

So sad because we always eat here and order for lunch! We never had this and service as today. The baked potato was hard. The tortillas were super hard we were unable to eat them. The cheesy squash was cold. Wish I could call corporate to let them know. This is unacceptable.

Place is disgustingly and dirty! Went up to the manager more than one time because of the horrible service! First off they didn’t have side of potatoes. Secondly we asked respectfully to clean our dirty table and what does one of the employee do? She had the rag of the cleaning table in trash and took it out and cleaned our table! Cross contamination ! that was my first encounter with the manager. After this the salsa station was empty! Does the manager not ask employees to have the salsas ready ? Besides being empty it was filthy! No containers to put the salsa , no containers to get chips! After realizing there was no containers that was my second encounter with the manager. While letting the manager know another customer next to me had said “ I already told her 15 minutes ago.”
Instead of manager and employees chit chatting they should be cleaning the place up , following up what is missing. You’re not there to chit chat time , you’re there to hustle and work! Very nasty place never coming back to this location ! Mesa & Resler is way better with cleaning and service!

Clean the place up. Long list, but I will start. It would be nice if the drink station didn’t dispense soda water on the left station. Tables are all dirty, or need to be bussed in general. Floor could possibly kill roaches by them choking on all the food.

Salsa has dried onto the entire ring around the salsa bar.

Prices are terrible for one person. $9 for mushroom tacos on low end. 13-18 otherwise. Hope you pay the employees instead of pocketing all that cash. Get another person on staff, and pay them well to get to cleaning. One person running the food can’t keep up with it all.

Chicken was a bit salty. Flavors were good in general.

Update, still eating. Gloves are for everyone’s safety, not just to keep your nails clean. Cleaning tables and handling every “fresh” plate without changing gloves?

Got dayum ya’ll. Get it together.

Update, just finished. The trash can hole is too small. No one helps take their plates if they don’t fit.

I ordered
some shrimp tacos and lo and behold there was a long strand of hair in my taco. Management, Erica, offered to make me another taco or refund my money. I appreciate that, but I just became so nauseated that I went to vomit. I’m not gonna recommend this place, but if you wanna take the risk, then I have advised you. Disgusting!

We came in, ordered our food and paid our number (36). The lady (Janet Chacón) at the register was professional and polite. Notice there were no straws available and I asked Erika A. for straws; with an extremely rude attitude she said “ya los van a traer” and rolled her eye back towards me. The (Al Pastor) Street special comes with pineapple, I asked for them as they were apperantly no included. The pineapple was brought out by another lady (I believe this is the lady that was making the fresh tortillas).
I love eating at El Tacotote, I’m just shocked to have for the most part received such neutral treatment and service.
Adding on to the sticky floors and the sewer type of smell at the main entrance of the establishment.
I lost my appetite, and will no longer dine there again.

When we go shopping and time to eat come we usually go to tacotote but this time it was awful. My wife ordered some chicken ponchos and I ordered the chicken quesadilla took a while to get our food and didn’t know why since the place had only 3 other families. What caught me of guard was there was no longer the little card board cups to put the salsa in the gave us the to go containers which made me get up considerably often. Having a bad back really irritated with the constant up and down. I ask for a box like the ones u put the tostadas in but was told 1 per customer . Couldn’t get cucumbers with limes because didn’t have where to put them on. This was a very bad time I had here where this used to be 1 of my favorite place to eat ….don’t know of i will be coming back…

We visited Taco Tote as a family, and unfortunately, our meal was quite disappointing. The tripitas were overly greasy and had an unappetizing appearance due to the excessive fat. The potatoes were also served cold and hard. The meat we ordered for our family of four was dry and lacked the flavor we were hoping for. To make matters worse, we were only informed after placing our order that flour tortillas were unavailable because of a management oversight. Given that our meal cost over $100, we were very disappointed with the quality of the food and won’t be returning.

Excuse me, were we supposed to talk during dinner because that didn’t happen! We stuffed our faces until we were physically uncomfortable. Hands down the best Mexican food we’ve had in a very long time!
Long wait and pretty expensive but 100% worth it! The girl at the drive thru window was also very sweet and accommodating!
