We travel to Illinois from Michigan specifically for the Al pastor/trompo tacos. They are the best we have ever tried here in the US. Excellent flavor and reminds us so much of the ones we get in Mexico we’re there. We always ask for the 1 lb of al pastor and that comes with small/street taco tortillas, onion, cilantro, limes and of course their salsas are amazing as well. Their horchata tastes amazing as well. Good variety of drinks to choose from. Excellent customer service every time we come down to visit. They only accept cash.

The octopus with chili sauce was so tender! Highly recommended!! The arrachera was also super tender. It was so easy to slice into it. The shrimp ceviche was just alright but fresh. I’ll definitely be coming back.
In terms of the vibes, there aren’t too many tables filled so it’s a quiet dinner place.

Amazing food and service! The alambres dish was incredible, rich and flavorful with tender meats. The large portion could easily feed 2 people. Loved the pepino lemonade too. Important to note: cash only from Mon.-Thurs. Great hidden gem, will return soon.

This place is very welcoming, and the vibe is really nice and casual. The space itself looks great—clean, inviting, and comfortable. The food presentation is beautifully put together, you can tell a lot of care goes into every plate. The drinks are crafted so nicely too—layered, delicious, and just as impressive as the food. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

Everything was delicious! We ordered tacos, tostadas, and spaghetti and really enjoyed the food. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were good. This is our second time here because we liked it so much the first time. Would definitely come back!

My friends highly recommended this place. It was my first time trying it, and I found the “pescadillas endiabladas” (spicy fish tacos) absolutely amazing! ! If you’re a taco lover, these are a must-try. They’re completely filled with stewed fish, tomatoes, and other ingredients, topped with shrimp and octopus in a spicy sauce—absolutely delicious! They also have many other options for meats and seafood. 10/10

This Place caught me by surprise. I have been eating Tacos all week and didn’t feel like having Mexican Dish today. But once we looked around the area, everything was a hassle to get to. The service at this place was Fantastic!! The Servers was very friendly and had beautiful smiles throughout our dining experience. The food came fast. The Chips and Salsa was Chrisp and spice just right. My Buddy Their taco dinner and he said it was delicious. I ask ther server what she recommend and she was happy to recommend Encevichadas. AND WOW!! She did not Disappoint! It was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS!! I ate every lil bits that was on my platter. I highly recommend this place and to try the Encevichadas when you come here.
