We visited this restaurant recently after noticing the renovations, as we had been here prior to the updates. Overall, the experience was okay, but there was one issue that stood out.
When we arrived, there was already a group seated who had not yet been served. We were asked if we were dining in or taking out, and after confirming we were dining in, we were told to choose a seat. I placed my order at the counter upon arrival, as the process was not clearly explained, and then we sat down.
After waiting for some time without being approached, two additional parties arrived and were seated behind us. They were promptly given menus, drinks, and ultimately received their food before we did—despite the fact that we had arrived and ordered prior to them. We ended up being the last customers served in the restaurant, and my partner eventually had to go up and ask about our order.
As the only Black customers present at the time, this experience raised concerns for us. While we understand that delays can happen, the order in which guests were served did not appear consistent, and it left us feeling overlooked and uncomfortable.
Aside from this, The food was delicious and the servers were friendly, but the service inconsistency made a noticeable impact on our visit. We hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to ensure fair and attentive service for all customers moving forward.

Wow! Just WOW! how is the food this good AND the staff this friendly? Add in uplifting Christian music and I’m basically having church with my breakfast. This place isn’t just serving meals—it’s serving joy on a plate.

Tacos y mas has a good customer service, it was also pretty good. The tacos were fresh and had real flavor, especially the birria ones. The place is really calm and the people and workers were nice. Service was good and food was delicious. I’d go back for sure.

The guy is very rude and they have poor customer service. He tried to charge me extra for two small sauces for almost $5. And I know it was because I’m black. He doesn’t do that to Hispanic or white customers. They are very racist and disrespectful to black people. Do not come here. He has no professional and integrity.

Waited a long time for service come to find out they only had salmon. The salmon was nasty and dry , and there no seasoning like they took it out of the freezer and put it on the grill. It tasted like old frost bite. Salad and beans were fine. I made a complaint and I was told that’s how they cook their fish. I would not recommend eating their seafood

Will never be coming back , the male workers only cater to their people. I watched the man give 3 plates to people that was waiting all different tables but when my order was ready I had to get up and walk over to receive my food. Then there is a fly/ bug in the salad 0/10 will never be coming back
