Stopped by on a sunny afternoon. Sat inside facing 15th in the sun. Wasn’t to hot for me and enjoyed the setting. Roasted beet tacos were a hit. I was a bit nervous to order them. However, they did not disappoint. Many restaurants give out a complimentary a bowl of chips. This spot also give three different sauces. All were tasty. The rice and black beans were decent. I am picky when it comes to my rice. They passed with flying colors, beans had nice flavor too. The tequila options where vast and drink menu plentiful. Outside seating available as well. I went during an afternoon and food came out fast. Normally when I drive by the place is very busy. This was not the case for me.

Very friendly staff (Jenna was wonderful) that had plenty of recommendations that turned out to hit just the right spot!

3 salsas offered with chips to start the meal, all full of flavor without being offensive on the spice level.

If you can get the flan for dessert, do so!

Everything is freshly made in house and though you pay for it, wow it’s worth it!
Had the Enchildas and Quesabirria, so delicious and so filling.
Dayton was all energy, but kind and helpful.

This is a must try restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing. It has an outside option which is so cool. My personal favorite is a pork belly tacos and any of the ceviche’s. They have great sauces, dips and guacamole. Their brunch menu is exceptional on the weekends and they have amazing cocktails. The white staff is great on recommendations as well.

Such a fun place to eat! The food was amazing, and came out so quick. The servers were very attentive and the atmosphere of the place was contagious. Made it hard not to dance while you ate. Would totally recommended to others and we would go back ourselves if we lived in the area.

We were a group of 4 who visited on a whim before a show at the Mercury Lounge across the street, and we could not be more pleased to have chosen to dine here.

Tortilla chips and 3 types of salsa are comlimentary, and we also started with a Skillet Queso Fundido appetizer. The Queso Fundido arrives on a hot flat skillet with 8 street taco-sized tortillas to load with the cheese. Between the chips & salsa and the fundido (both of which were delicious), we really had to regulate ourselves so as not to be too full for the main course.

Blood orange margaritas were the specialty that night and were an excellent compliment to the food. My wife’s not a margarita fan and prefers gin & tonic, which they had, which we’ve found to be a rarity for Mexican restaurants. Granted, they had one and only one brand of gin, but they had it!

It happened to be Taco Tuesday which meant that all of their street tacos (with the exception of the most expensive selection) were on sale for one flat price. It also meant that you could mix ‘n match, which is exactly what we all did. Rice & beans normally come with all street taco orders but they do not for Taco Tuesday (they can still be ordered separately). This turned out to be perfectly fine for us due to the aforementioned preloading on appetizers.

I had Mahi-Mahi, Chicken Tinga, and Candied Pork Belly tacos. They come open-faced on a tortilla with enough filling that it’s difficult to roll up into the traditional taco shape. The Mahi-Mahi is tempura-battered with a very tasty chipotle aioli that compliments it well and was my favorite. Next up was the Chicken Tinga which had a yummy spicy kick and finished only slightly behind the Mahi-Mahi as a favorite. The Pork Belly was cubed and candied and while crunchy & tasty, it had a bit too much fat for my preference. One of my companions who ordered an Al Pastor taco noted the same, and that was the only negative (however slight) in our dining experience.

Last but absolutely not least was the service. It was spectacular. I’d have to search long and hard in the old memory banks to recall better service. Dayton was spot on with the suggestions, conversation, and refills, and it was truly a joy to be one of his guests.

The place is definitely on the small side so if it’s a busy night, I’d strongly suggest reservations. They also have an outdoor dining area that would be nice in pleasant weather.

We’ll definitely be back to try out other menu items!

Wow, what a find! First, the cocktails were first rate. But the main courses — I had chicken enchiladas! — were outstanding. Just a great place.
