Our mission at Tacos Veganos is to create a unique company who is committed to serving our community, and to introduce consumers the idea that traditional Mexican street style food can still be eaten without unnecessary suffering of animals. We can also accomplish this while focusing on the sustainability of the planet. Demonstrating the viability of a delicious plant based alternative in the Mexican fast food restaurant format, and being able to share an affordable way for people to introduce plant based food in their diet.

Came in on a random Thursday afternoon. Waiting to check into our Airbnb and looked up vegan places. This place popped up and im glad it did! Amazing beer battered cauliflower tacos! Definitely worth a stop.

It’s always exciting to find vegan restaurants in the West valley. The food was very good.
Update: I came back a second time with my husband and we both enjoyed our meal. I love that there are so many things to try. I want to go back and try everything eventually. It’s hard having diet restrictions because I’m normally limited to one or two items on a menu. It’s so wonderful that I can eat everything on this menu!!!! I can come here so many times and get something totally different.

I really wanted to try some vegan food. Was not thinking about trying. Vegan tacos but I’m glad I did. The food was superb. I had four tacos. I had a Pollo taco, birria taco, Carne Asada taco, and a Cali baja taco. The rice and beans were just delicious. The guacamole oh my gosh and I tried the cheese on some vegan nachos. If you have not been you need to visit. I visited the restaurant in Avondale and they also have one in Phoenix at the Arcadia location on E. Indian School Rd. Thank me later..

My bestie took me to lunch at TACO Veganos, and let me tell you, OMG. This spot serves up amazing vegan Mexican food, and their jackfruit birria tacos are everything. I’ve been here three times now, and each visit has been consistently impressive. The customer service is always on point, and the food? Sooo good!
What I love most is how flavorful everything is. You honestly can’t even tell it’s not meat. The jackfruit has the same satisfying texture, and the seasoning is chef’s kiss. Plus, even after we’re totally full, we never feel heavy or gross, just happily satisfied.
Bonus: they have two locations 3301 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018 so it’s even easier to get your fix! If you’re open-minded and curious about trying plant-based options, I highly recommend TACO Veganos. It’s definitely become one of my favorite lunch or dinner spots!

I thought birria ramen came with birria? Seems I just got consome and ramen. Which was 16$ after taxes by the way! So crazy. The tacos are 3.25$ a piece, I got two and they were the size of my palm together. Almost 24$ for 2 tacos and my ramen. I’m not sure why this place is rated so well. It didn’t even taste good. Huge disappointment!

Stopped by twice while visiting AZ and will make the 7 hour trip for more soon. The flavors are authentic and this is the first place I’ve come across doing plant based birria. I’m not a fan of jackfruit but this was seasoned so well and tasted delicious. Also tried the Al pastor torta and same thing, authentic flavors and delicious. Salsas were perfect too. The prices were great compared to most vegan spots. Give it a try!!
