Roadside restaurant with a charmingly romantic atmosphere. Food was really good and the wait staff was super delightful. Adrianna was as beautiful as her service…she kept the food coming and hot and the beers flowing and cold. I had a little trouble with their scan and pay but I’m sure it was just me and not their system. I’ve visited their other restaurants and it’s never been a disappointment but I think this is my new Saturday night spot.

We had a great date night at La Tolteca. I ordered the enchiladas verdes, Jalisco-style, with a cold horchata—everything was flavorful and came out fast. The portion sizes were generous; we even had a little leftover to take home. My wife was all smiles over the free chips and salsa. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere made for a great evening.

I did not realize my tacos wouldn’t be crunchy, it didn’t really specify, but the tacos I did get were also very small.
I’m not a huge taco fan to begin with so this was disappointing.
The guacamole is the best I’ve tried so there’s that. Always lots of parking to.

Awesome food! This was our first time visiting and definitely not our last. Our meals were worth every penny. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. The Burritos are huge so make sure you have room for these bad boys!
The service was impeccable. We were promptly seated and waited on. We never had to ask for anything. All of the staff were friendly.
The parking lot is easy to access and get out of. There is a big side parking lot as well.

This was a birthday lunch to which my wife and daughter took me and I have to say, I was really impressed with the quality of the food. My enchilda was stuffed with really tender and tasty beef. My wife got the floutas and they were even better than the enchilada. The fajitas my daughter got were well seasoned and came out sizzling. The margaritas were ok…coulda been a little more to that, but I guess it was appropriate for lunch time. And the food us what we went for anyway. My daughter’s mojito was pretty good tho. I’d get that next time instead. Still…5 stars… definitely will be back.

I will try any restaurant twice, first and last. I ordered the nachos and there was no way you could eat them with your fingers. It was literally fixing for a fajita just dumped on top of chips that would break into pieces the minute you tried to eat them. Even with a fork you couldn’t eat them. 15.99 is a ridiculous amount for me to just say forget it. I definitely will not go back. The selection compared to other Mexican restaurants they are totally sub par.

Ever wonder what street tacos taste like in Central America? Just like these. I’ve travelled enough in that region of the world to know good food, and this place pulls it off. I ordered three of the beef and chorizo tacos and their specialty nachos, which were way too much for one person. Great service too. Only the atmosphere is a little understated.

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times. The food has been consistently good. Service has varied, with the last visit being terrible. The atmosphere is ok. Definitely not somewhere you want to take a first date. There isn’t a bar or good space to relax if you aren’t having dinner.
The drinks however are another story. Previous visits were at times when it was just for food. This time, the house margarita tasted like there was no tequila and my lunch companion, who is a complete light weight, completely agreed. We each had 2 and both felt 100% fine. The nail in the coffin of ever returning came with being charged $10 for each one. There are no drink prices on any menu, so be sure to ask. I was really wanting this to be my go to Mexican food place but I won’t be returning. $70 for lunch with 4 drinks is unreasonable, especially when the drinks were horrible.

The food is ok, not great. It’s about as Mexican as Taco Bell, from the flavors to the spices. The best dish they have is the salsa for the chips. The queso dip is just white Velveeta cheese with red pepper flakes. The horchata is more like a shake than a drink. Service was good and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. She is why I’m not giving 2 stars. If you want good Mexican food, this ain’t the place to go.
