This tray of birria tacos from Tacos Time Square looks absolutely mouthwatering. The golden, crispy tortillas are packed with tender, shredded beef and melted cheese, served alongside a rich, flavorful consomé for dipping. The lime wedges add a nice fresh touch to balance the richness.

Flavor-wise, these tacos were almost soul-touching — just a notch away from perfection. The meat was juicy and well-seasoned, the tortillas beautifully crisped, and the dipping broth packed a nice savory kick. The portion-to-price ratio felt fair considering the location, and honestly, I could probably put away seven or eight of these if I was really hungry.

Overall, delicious, satisfying, and definitely worth revisiting — just missing that final spark to hit legendary status.

Would definitely recommend this place. I’ve tried almost everything, pork tacos, chicken birria, bowls, everything is amazing and tastes authentic and fresh. The sauces that come with the meal are good too.

Al pastor nachos are solidly good and filling. the carnitas tacos are very good—tacos were simple and hit the spot. a hole-in-the-wall spot—a few seats inside & a table or two outside on the sidewalk. a little gritty, but clean. service is friendly enough. stays busy because of nonstop food app deliveries. recommended—if you’re hungry, set your expectations, and enjoy food with no social media flash.

Tried this place out for lunch since I wanted something different in the area. It’s pretty small but decent. About 3 bar stools to sit on and 2 small tables.
I ordered a chicken torta ( sandwich ) which was good but I wish they were a bit more generous with the chicken. lol. One slice of grilled chicken doesn’t suffice the bread & toppings. 2 slices would have made the sandwich perfect. I’d come back and try other options.

They give you a small complimentary carrot cake which was good.

They advertise 3 tacos for $11.25, and .75 cents for guacamole on the each taco (used to be $.50)
As i was paying I notice they charge me more, it’s annoying and upsetting to be charged more when it’s clearly advertised for less. When I asked what were the additional charges for, the worker couldn’t tell me. I won’t be back and I won’t recommend to guest at my hotel. I’ve been going here since they opened and they just lost business. I don’t like being cheated out of anything not even a penny. It’s the principle of being honest and this looks very sneaky, imagine all the customers that they do this too. It all adds up.

this place used to be really good for take out, but something changed over the past year or two. I just ordered a steak burrito online and it was a mess. they say the burrito is “12” choice of tortilla, with Mexican rice, black or pinto beans, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo and guacamole.” it was filled with rice, corn and peas, no bean to be found, no guac and very little meat. you can serve it like that but please update your menu!
