Stopped on for an early Sunday afternoon meal. Actually surprised that there was an open restaurant in this small town. We were the only folks in the restaurant. The owner was our waiter. My husband had a taco salad in a shell that was delicious. I had a quesadilla mexicana with delicious beef tips. My meal can with bean and rice plus salad. Looking at the tin ceiling I knew that this was in a historic building. Fun spirit week event was underway in other buildings in the town square with high-school students painting storefront windows for homecoming week.

Out of all the Mexican restaurants I’ve in. Tacos Tequila makes the best steak burrito grande. Service is on point. I’m in hungry, and out full and satisfied in a good period of time. The paintings were lovely and the rest of the decor was simple, and that all they needed in my opinion. Meanwhile other restaurants go all out on the decor. If you want good authentic Mexican food at a fair price. I suggest you go to Tacos Tequila.

The staff at tacos and tequila is great and never miss a beat. Never have to wait on anything they are always on it. The food is always fantastic and their steak tacos are some of the best. It’s a great addition to the Winchester community and I have nothing but great things to say about this place.

The best Mexican food, made with love. Even just getting simple vegetarian meals, the enchilada sauce is amazing, the quesadillas are cheesy and delicious, and even just the chips and salsa are very nice quality. (I like making a flag with my burrito, using the hot salsa verde, and queso )

Didn’t get what I ordered, what i the beef tips were so tuff couldn’t eat it. Left as hungry as when I went in. WILL NOT GO BACK!! Even after I told them I’m leaving as hungry as when I came in, all got was sorry

I give very few reviews but felt that I needed to share how delicious this food was. Being in a very small town I was hesitant about the food being fresh etc. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely return. This was some of the best Mexican food in the area! Please patronize this place! It is well worth it.
