Food is very good, service wasn’t very good. We ordered chilaquiles verdes the lady brought us chilaquiles rojos. Instead the waitress was a bit rude and tried to convince my sister on eating that instead of fixing it, and bringing out what she had originally ordered.. also when you walk in, you have to order and tip before being helped etc. they bring you salsa when you sit down but no chips..? Was a bit weird. Other than that food was very good.

I came here with my family of 6 on Sunday. I wasn’t greeted at the door. We had to seat ourselves and no one gave us a high chair for my daughter. My husband had to get it himself. When the waitress we asked if we are going to get any chips and salsa she said we don’t offer that which was strange but she came and took our order then the server gave us our food. During our whole dining experience no one came to us to check to see how we were doing. Didn’t ask if we needed anything else and didn’t offer us dessert. There were maybe 2-3 table with customers it was fairly slow at the time we were there. After we had gotten done eating it may have been more than 20 minutes and again no one checked on us. My husband had to go get someone to get our check. The food was okay the service was horrible I’ve never been treated like that. I would not recommend and will definitely not be returning. If this is the type of service you get on a Sunday when you’re out with your family.

Its always an awesome experience going here. The place inside is very clean and welcoming. Prepare your good cash because you will want more than just one order or probably a dessert from the place. Las tortas de pierna las mejores me recuerdan a mi pueblo en Jalisco.

id prefer a taco truck over this especially for the price they charge $12 for 5 tacos. the meat has no flavor but at least the salsa is good.

Went to this taco place pretty late on a weekday and was glad to eat this instead of fast food. The tacos were pretty good and fresh. Sauces came prepackaged and convenient for takeout. The place may put some off as it may seem like a seedy neighborhood with bars all over the windows, and there was a homeless change begging psychopath lurking around the parking lot but the place is clean and there is plenty of seating inside. And the psychopath seemed pretty harmless. The people seem to care about the quality of the food and there is a pretty good crowd coming in and out of the place so it must be ok. Watch out for the tacos al pastor though, they are delicious but will burn a hole right through your body! Still ate all of them! I’ll return whenever I am near Hobby Airport.

This is the last time purchasing their food. I took my order of tacos to go, so… on my last bite of a taco, I found a long hair embedded into my taco’s meat, I took the hair off from my mouth; it was pretty disgusting, awful and pretty much almost made me throw up… I called the place to tell them what happened to me, but in the middle of the conversation the person hung up the phone call and blocked my phone number, I say this because I tried to call again and it didn’t go through. I didn’t like this place at all, bad service and not a sanitary place to eat.

I liked the the food and the portions are very generous. What I did not like is the ordering system they have; A waitress will not approach you, you have to order at the counter. Everything is a la carte, only aguas frescas are on fountain, soft drinks are on bottles and cans. I find this system more appropriate for a taco truck than for a restaurant. Once you place your order, you then go find a table ,no hostess, and wait for a “waitress” (if she can be called a waitress, as no waiting of tables is taking place here,) to bring your food and your bottled drink, and you will be waiting a while, seems that the kitchen is understaffed. No complementary chips here.

The place is located in a somewhat rundown strip mall, and there is not much parking. The interior of the restaurant is also run down and unkempt, it is not dirty, but there are boxes and crates of empty bottles in the dining room. I found the music to be too loud and not in keeping with the “Monterrey” motif. I would conclude by saying this place is take out only. Monterrey style competitors do a better job for those that prefer to dine in.

The food and service were ok but definitely not worth what I was charged. You order your food at the counter and they simply bring it to your table when it’s ready. You’re not really receiving waiter service. So I don’t think it’s appropriate to automatically add gratuity to tickets. It was only 5 of us and the cashier stated that gratuity is automatically added when orders are over $80. That is clearly a lie because on the review before mine, that family was also charged gratuity and their subtotal was $69. Also, on the receipt it states gratuity is for 6+ but again we were a party of 5 and the reviewer before stated they also were a party of 5. I believe if you’re going to charge gratuity automatically, at least be consistent and have a sign posted by the cashier area for customer awareness.

If you’re looking for delicious authentic tacos that isn’t a food truck, but indoors this is the place to go. Personally, if the restaurant is filled with natives then you’re in the right place. Other than the owner(?) most do not speak English, however the servers are very understanding and patient with additional orders. Overall the place has amazing vibes, especially at 1AM in the morning. I highly recommend checking this place out.

..my husband and I wanted to try this place again so we went and order, the worker doesn’t get the order correctly okay that’s fine we taking leftovers. then I order a cheesecake and omg it tasted old like pasty the graham cracker crust tasted rubbery and old. I told the manager on duty he took and bite out of the cheesecake and said nothing is wrong it it’s taste good. Like sir are you serious okay you not going to take my opinion seriously a paying customer . So yeah I won’t be coming back here. The tacos were ok.. the kicker he grabbed the cheesecake the entire piece stayed together like a rubber toy and ate with his hands…..
