Sunset time just hits different. I love outdoor spaces and this experience was great. I paid 7$ for 3 tacos and you can also get more salsa, sauce and salad for free at a self-service stop.
Taking order lady doesn’t understand English as much, but we figured it.
In general, awesome price for pretty generous tacos at a great access spot

I have been here about 10 times these past few months. The highlight is the al pastor. Flavorful, well-seasoned, and a tiny bit burnt from the grill.
They’re open ~5pm-1am everyday and offer tacos, burritos, quesadillas, mulitas, tortas, baked potatoes, and aguas frescas (typically horchata, Jamaica, piña, and champurrado) at a reasonable price.
The salsas are great. I recommend the guacachile and chipotle salsas. Feel free to grab a couple of chiles toreados on their side pot.
The reason I did not give 5 stars is because while they have various protein choices, their consistency is not as good outside of the al pastor, carnitas, chorizo, and cabeza.

Tasty authentic tacos! A lot of options to choose from and very affordable prices! So many topping to add on your tacos. A must try if you are in the area.

Tacos Tamix serves up some great food, and the al pastor is definitely the standout—it’s flavorful, well-cooked, and exactly what you want from a taco stand. The spot itself is in a liquor store parking lot, which gives it that classic street taco vibe.
The only downside was the service at the register, which wasn’t particularly friendly. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it definitely stood out. That said, the food was solid, and I’d still come back if I’m in the area.

Cashier was super nice, and the truck has a nice option of eating there (covered seating) or taking out.
However, the carne asada quesadilla simply wasn’t it. Not nearly enough meat, and for the price ($10), I expected a bit more. With that said, it was delicious and the salsas (mild avocado green, classic verde, and a spicy roja) were ALL delicious.
Just need to hook a brotha up next time to truly earn the 5 stars that I know yall can get.

Jesus these tacos were basically perfect in terms of being like authentic street tacos that you would get in Mexico (but better than most street vendors in Mexico). Super impressed. I had one of every taco and an Al Pastor burrito and it was all perfect. Exact same flavor and style as Mexico. Took me back!

This is the best Al Pastor I’ve had, ever. I don’t fly into LAX very often, but every time I do I will be getting tacos here. Unreal delicious Al Pastor freshly sliced, pineapple on top, and literally buckets of super fresh pico, cilantro & onions, salsa verde, radishes, limes, and grilled onions. It seriously doesn’t get better than this.

Got some unique tacos! I didn’t understand the menu but I asked for the fave of the cashier. She didn’t disappoint. If you’re familiar with pho, her recommendation won’t disappoint. Definitely had pho ingredients in some of the tacos!

Best tacos in town. They make the food right in front of you. So much flavor and salsas are everything. They have a stand where you can get your own salsas, onions, cucumbers, and limes. 2 dollar tacos is everything.

In town from Texas, and these might be the best pastor tacos I’ve had in a very long time.. So good I came back the next day. Good prices, the red salsa is delicious, all the right condiments, cebolla, cilantro, rabano, the horchata was very refreshing, and they made our order super fast Def coming back on future trips to LA (AND THEYRE OPEN LATE!!)
