The street tacos have griddled cheese (one of my favorite things you can do to a taco) and super fresh meat. We got the chicken and split it because the servings were so big.
I’m so picky about street corn because we make it at home pretty perfectly, but this lived up to our standards of good texture, good crema sauce, and the smoky flavor was additive instead of overwhelming.
I’ll 100% be returning to enjoy another lunch on a nice day here.
Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but you absolutely get what you pay for, quality, flavor, and amazing customer service. The guys working here are so kind, super helpful, and genuinely engage with their customers. You can tell they really care about their business.
The asada is my absolute favorite, so juicy and perfectly seasoned. The Brisket Nachos and Elote are also bomb. You can even order a drink right from your table thanks to the Night Owl bar. A total win win and completely family-friendly.
This is officially the new go-to. highly recommend!
They had great variety of smoked meat tacos, with some specials they do frequently like smoked brisket on Sundays (which I came back for the next day and are included in this review!)
Couldn’t decide which I wanted over another so I got their full Specialty Taco menu! Also grabbed their Street Corn and Queso w/ Chips.
The tacos were FANTASTIC. They each were super tender, packed with flavor, and they LOAD each taco up to the maximum it can hold (and even a bit past that lol). Was unsure if I’d get my money’s worth on each taco but was pleasantly surprised.
My favorites of the specialty tacos were the Smoked Chicken Enchiladas taco and the Smoked Santa Maria Tri-Tip taco. Got both with the grilled cheese on the tortilla too. Was glad they grilled the cheese on the inside of the taco VS the outside so as to not make holding it greasy.
While those were my favorite, they were each amazing.
The Street Corn was also really good and was sad they were sold out when I returned. The Queso and chips were good but Im, personally, not a fan of the style of chips used. Not to say they were bad, just not my preference!
Loved it so much so, I came back the next day to try their Brisket menu haha!
With this batch, the Cowboy taco alone made returning worth it. The brisket quesadillas were great and a even ratio of meat and cheese.
The area the truck is located in is also a super chill vibe. Shade, long benches, combed gravel to avoid mud and bugs, misters for the heat, music on speakers, and a HUGE screen where they play movies or featured games frequently. Was nice to just vibe out there for a bit after eating, which I typically don’t do much tbh.
Lastly, got a give a big shout out to the employees who were super welcoming, helped answer any questions I had, checked up on me to see how I was liking things, and we’re generally very kind.
Great experience, great food, great atmosphere, and great people. Definitely recommend and will be coming back to try their new stuff soon!
