The experience was fantastic. We started with guac and chips — the guacamole was fresh, classic, and on point, and the chips were fried fresh and salted perfectly.
The owner recommended the taco trio (chicken, steak, and pastor). The pastor was easily the standout — seasoned beautifully, super tender, and full of flavor.
What made it even better was the story behind the place — a family-owned restaurant built in memory of their father, who wrestled in the ’70s. That kind of heart shows in the food and the experience.

These are the most flavorful tacos between Cincinnati and Columbus! I purchased the steak, chicken, and fish tacos; roughly $16. Every bite is consistent! I even ate the leftovers cold and they were still delicious. They are a must try! I can’t wait to go back!

Stopped in for a quick bite while visiting Columbus. Went with the happy hour nacho special, and it did NOT disappoint. The chicken was very flavorful, and the portion was very generous for the price. Would definitely come back when I’m back in town

Always LOVE to eat here!!! As a Mexican who grew up in Chicago with a lot of Mexican food options, it’s been hard to find an authentic place in Columbus and I’m so happy I came across Tacos Rudos!

Fast food Mexican restaurant inside Budd Diary Food Hall. They have the traditional torta and tacos. They have 3 vegan options if you skip the cheese and mayo. The torta , nachos and quesadilla. They come with shiitake mushrooms and potato’s and pico and guac. I ordered the torta and some fresh made guac. It was pretty tasty

My first bite, I knew I had to make a review about this place. The food is so delicious with so much flavor! I’m usually iffy about eating fish, but after hearing that their Red Snapper taco is “the best fish taco in Ohio” I had to try it and boy, am I glad I did. I cannot stop talking about how delicious the red snapper taco is. I love the fact that they bread the fish which gives it a crunchy texture and makes the taco 1000x more delicious. I originally got 1 asada taco and 1 red snapper but after eating, I had to order another snapper. The asada taco is good as well, especially the salsa on top of it. When I go back to Budds, I won’t be able to try anything else. The food is a little pricey, it was $36 just for my food and two drinks, but if the food is that delicious it might just be worth it.
