Easily top 3 best burgers in Cruces. Roasted Chile Burger – bacon, pineapple, chile, avocado, cheese and condiments. The burger holds together well and isn’t greasy at all. Comes with fries too. All for about $8.00.
10/10 would recommend.

Tacos Romero for the win! The hubs and I split a super yummy barbacoa burrito and an order of pastor tacos. The corner where the food truck is set up could definitely use some seating and a trash can, but if you’re taking it to-go, you’ve got no worries. We found a short wall to sit on and looked at a lovely mountain view as well as a very interesting pink and purple polka-dotted 8 ft elephant sculpture… Love it!

Great tacos and salsa. They are too cheap though! I would absolutely pay 10 instead of 7 for them. Good job

Service is horrible. The lady is always so rude and mean. I gave her the machine that beeps and said that if her boss would have seen that she would have charge me $20 because it was wet. They are at a bar and I don’t clean the table and I didn’t even know it was wet. It was still working because it was beeping and it stopped when she connected it. We stopped buying from them because they are always so rude and charge for every little thing.

First of customer service is just not their thing. The lady had a terrible look in her face like if she was annoyed or something. I asked for a barbacoa burrito and asked them to hold the onion and cilantro and told me they had to charge me to put it on the side, that because they had to charge for the small plastic containers, WHATT!!??? Now the food, very small corn tortillas and they do not double them. Barbacoa is very greasy, but has decent taste. Salsa they include has a very mild taste, and not a big issue, but its worth to mentioning, they do not provide any bags to cary your food. So you have to cary your items individually hoping you don’t drop your food. Overall not a pleasant experience, I would not recommend!

Over the weekend, we purchased 2 tortas and a cheeseburger. The tortas were carne asada with ham. In which we recieved little pieces of ham and sporactic carne asada, hardly any guacamole lots of lettuce. The cheeseburger was not dressed with any mayo and lukewarm. We always went there because of the delicious food, now we were disappointed… with what we paid you’d think we would get what we paid for! What happened!! Tacos Romero we will be taking our business elsewhere!

Food was good the place is pretty big and I think is a fusion of restaurants. The building has one name, the taco truck is in the back, and the elephant beer garden all share the space. But it’s a great time. Music playing bar looked like it was having a good time.

This is my go-to barbacoa stop! I like to call ahead, but the orders are usually put together fairly quickly. If you order in person, they’ll give you a buzzer to hold onto so they can alert you when it is ready. I used to visit them at the flea market on weekends at Big Daddy’s Flea Market. After that stopped running in the spring of 2020, I was so disappointed until I stumbled upon their new location on Picacho Avenue. I highly recommend giving them a try!

These tacos are good, but not great. The al pastor and chicken were the best. The barbacoa was a little greasy and the asada a little dry. But, I would still stop by and grab some tacos when passing by.
