Pico Rico: The Heartwarming Home of the Shrimp Burrito

I’ve been a loyal customer at Pico Rico for over five years, and I can honestly say it’s a culinary gem that keeps my taste buds dancing! But if I had to pick one dish that truly stole my heart, it’s their incredible shrimp burrito — so good, it’s become the benchmark for perfection in my book.

From the very first bite, I was hooked. The shrimp is cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and bursting with freshness. Wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla, it’s complemented by the most delicious hot sauce I’ve ever tasted. And trust me, I love spicy food — this hot sauce is fire! It’s the perfect blend of heat and flavor, with just the right kick to ignite your senses.

What really elevates this dish is the fresh cilantro and the rich Mexican cheese that melt beautifully into each bite, creating a harmony of flavors that keeps me craving more. Honestly, I wake up thinking about that burrito — it’s that good.

Beyond the food, the staff at Pico Rico treat me like family. They always greet me with a smile and make me feel right at home, which makes every visit even more special.

If you’re looking for a place that serves up authentic, mouthwatering Mexican cuisine with a fiery twist and warm hospitality, Pico Rico is the spot. Trust me — once you try their shrimp burrito, it’ll steal your heart too.

Food was very good. Service was very friendly with a smile. Very generous with their hot sauces and extras. I’ll definitely be back. That shrimp tacos was loaded with de veined shrimp very fresh and the perfect amount of spice.

They are so friendly, the food is amazing, and the portions are enough for two meals which makes the price great as well. I love this spot and will keep going back.

Good stuff! I went with a few people. We all ordered something different and we all enjoyed our food.
One person ordered a burger with fries. Another ordered the Pico Rico burrito with shrimp. Street tacos were also ordered Carne asada and adobada.
We visited around 4 pm. There was only one other order ahead of us, so the service was swift.
There are picnic benches under the shade of eucalyptus trees. There is also a port-a-potty on site for use.
It was rasy to pull off and and back onto the highway.

Absolutely love this place. I am a huge fan of the taco salad. The street tacos are also really good and the Barbacoa tacos are a must try. The ladies are so upbeat and nice. Always stop if they are open

Very large burger. It COVERS the big bun and isn’t over cooked. Lots of fresh lettuce and veggies on it. The fries are great as well.

Amazing food! Unfortunately we drove 20 minutes each way to get food & they were closed. No answer on the phone when we called, the voicemail also says they are open. The food is great, but needs to be a little more intuned with the customers. Says on google you are currently open, show up and no one is there. Sad day, now I will only come here when passing by, so I know they are open. Long drive for no food, disappointed :(.

The food took longer than expected, about 30 min. We got an al pastor burrito, bean/rice burrito, and 4 chicken tacos. The food was just under $40. My burrito could have had more al pastor but had a decent amount. The tacos were overflowing with chicken. They have 3 sauces (green, hot red, and extra spicy special) and enchilada sauce. All the sauces were good. The hot red had the most flavor with a kick. We will definitely be going again. I recommend you try this place!
