I’ve visited Tacos Oaxaca twice now, and both times were absolutely wonderful. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and truly some of the best Mexican cuisine I’ve had in the area. Even when I first tried their food for takeout, it was amazing — but dining in made it even better.
Our server, Dulce, was exceptional during both visits. The first time I came in, she welcomed me so warmly and even introduced me to a traditional Mexican water — it was delicious, and such a thoughtful touch. When I returned with my mom, she was just as hospitable and attentive. Her kindness really added to the experience.
The atmosphere in this restaurant is relaxed, clean, and inviting. Everyone we interacted with was so genuine and friendly. This place might be tucked away, but it’s truly a local gem and absolutely worth visiting. Highly recommend the food, the service, and the overall experience — we will definitely be back!

We’ve been here twice now, and it’s definitely becoming one of our favorite spots.
We came in with our baby, and while he had a few fuzzy moments (as babies do), the atmosphere made everything feel relaxed and welcoming. Sometimes he was calm, other times he wanted to be held and walked around, and we never felt rushed or uncomfortable.
The food was excellent. I had the beef tongue taco and chorizo tacos—both were absolutely delicious. My wife ordered a quesadilla and loved it, and I also had a mojito that was perfectly made.
A special shoutout to our waitress, Dulce, who has helped us both times. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients and went above and beyond to help me choose safe options due to my gluten allergy. That level of care really means a lot.
Great food, great service, and wonderful music that created such a nice vibe. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Will absolutely be back. Dulce’s service was outstanding and she was delightful to chat with. I got the birria platter with a shrimp taco in addition and now i want to eat my way thru the full menu. The salsa and tortillas were also extra fresh!

The food here was incredible! An absolute gem tucked away in this shopping center. The price was very reasonable for the quality of food on offer.
We tried their newer enchiladas as well as the chicken tinga soup. Both were excellent! The enchiladas were some of the best I’ve ever had!

We are addicted to this place! I have read thru the 1 star reviews and they dont match. The food is great! The prices are reasonable, reasonable why prices may be higher than other places is the location and rent they pay to be here locally. I can justify that. Its always so clean!!! The glasses sparkle! Service is the best!

Love that i finally found an authentic Mexican Taqueria in the Raleigh area. Their trumpo tacos a.k.a. Al Pastor tacos are just as good as the ones I would get in California where authentic Mexican food is plentiful. They are very friendly and give you free, fresh chips and a variety of salsas. Hard to order anything but the tacos — husband got a burrito once and wasn’t impressed. Fresh, fast, DELICIOSO! I love treating myself to these tacos after some thrifting next door.

Same as the original in Lillington. Service is fabulous and the decorations remind you of Oaxaca religious beliefs and famously Breaking Bad scene.
Only ding is my wife’s enchiladas especial food was room temperature and not hot at all. We reheated my wife’s food at home and it was far better. Pretty disappointed at this point that food wasn’t hot.

This is our very favorite taco joint in N.C.! The carnitas are cooked to perfection with fresh onions and cilantro, and always juicy limes. Our server Dulce is wonderful and welcoming every time we visit, and she is so attentive. Our drinks never get empty and neither do the chips and salsa. Once I discovered Tacos Oaxaca, i come at least once a week. Oh, and the best frozen margaritas anywhere!
