My girlfriend told me about Tacos Neza a while ago, and we finally made it! We parked around Old Pasadena and walked a few minutes — the place was calm and super clean.
We ordered the Encostrados — each plate comes with two crispy cheese-wrapped rolls and your choice of filling (Pastor, Asada, Chicken, or Veggies). I tried one Asada and one Chicken — both incredible! The meat was perfectly grilled, the cheese crust added a smoky touch, and the flavors blended beautifully.
They also give you pickled onions and a few spicy sauces on the side — highly recommend adding a little green salsa for extra kick. ️
The vibe is modern but cozy, service is friendly, and prices are fair.
✅ Great for lunch or early dinner
✅ Clean interior with cool wall art
✅ Fresh, authentic taste
Totally worth it — especially the Asada Encostrado!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They were served with red and green salsas, neither of which were spicy but both great, and some crunchy pickled onions. We both loved our meal.
The restaurant itself is super cute and bright, with fun wall art! The staff were friendly. Overall, a great new option for Old Town.
But it was worth it! That was one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. All 3 of the sauces were amazing too, particularly the red one (I’m normally partial to green).
Portion was big. Tortilla was amazing and it was put together with care. So damn good.
