I recently visited the newly opened Tacos Nayarit with a party of twelve, and while our expectations were high! given how great the food has always been at their other location, the overall experience left us feeling pretty disappointed.
To be fair, the food itself was fantastic, just as flavorful and authentic as ever. Everyone at our table agreed that the dishes lived up to the standard we were used to.
However, the service was a completely different story. When we first arrived, our waitress was warm, friendly, and attentive, so we thought we were off to a good start. But it quickly became obvious that they were short-staffed. It took an unexpectedly long time just to get our drinks, and the food took even longer. At several points, it felt like they’d forgotten about our table entirely.
Even something as simple as getting limes turned into a struggle, they gave us one or two at a time, and we had to repeatedly ask for more, which was frustrating for a group our size.
The final blow was the “hospitality tax” added to the check. After the slow service and multiple mix-ups, being charged extra for “hospitality” felt pretty annoying.
Overall, amazing food but truly disappointing service. I hope they work out their staffing issues soon, because the kitchen is definitely doing its part.

We have been to this location twice and first time experiencing what food Tacos Nayarit has to offer. Was highly recommended by many people.
The first time, service started out great, but declined towards the end of our time there. We were there when they first opened, and we did not have complicated orders for a party of three (nor did we split the bill).
Second time, waitress was kind. What was the negative was the drink service. I don’t know what is happening at this location but for a place with a beautiful bar, they sure don’t do the best job in getting drinks together and out for service. As a party of four, we all got a drink. What was disappointing was we got the drinks AFTER our food. At which point, I no longer wanted mine. Luckily we were able to stop them from making mine because again they didn’t even had make it.

I’m a regular to original location. I decided to finally try out new location.. parking is small, similar to other location. 10m wait at 1230 turned into 15m almost 20m despite many open tables.. Finally seated at the bar. Lights were turned off so a tad dark. Bartender super friendly. Margarita was good. Food came out fast. Ordered street taco and 1 birria.. added consume. Tacos were delicious. Consume very thin. Little to no taste. Overall good experience.

The tacos here are incredible. I always order the shrimp and the pastor — they never disappoint. The servers and the owner are always friendly and pleasant. The meat is juicy and tender, and the produce is fresh. Best of all, your order is ready and brought to your table within about 10 minutes. Great food and great service every time.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere! We went in for food & drinks. Well my adult son went for food and I went for drinks. His food was very well seasoned & delicious. We enjoyed some really good drinks, made by Yuli. I am not much of a tequila sunrise girl, so she made me a Rum Sunrise & it was the best! Yuli was attentive and provided excellent service.

This place rocks!! Me and my family (which incudes some toddlers) loved it! We ate here Saturday and the food was all delicious, the drinks delicious, and our server Azu was so nice and friendly!! We love her 5-eva. (That’s one more than forever) we will be back! (Get the birria tacos if you’re unsure, they slap big time)

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant! The food is delicious. I usually order the burrito bowl or the quesadilla with shredded chicken. The guava agua fresca is my absolute favorite beverage! Mango would be second. The Cayce location allows you to have the typical sit down experience and I enjoy that more than the Percival location. I am so excited about the wonderful addition to Cayce!
