I recently visited Tacos in Salsa and was honestly impressed! First off, the tacos are overstuffed in the best way possible — no skimpy portions here. You’re definitely getting your money’s worth, and then some. Every bite was packed with flavor and fillings.
What really made the experience even better was the top-notch service. Oscar at the front counter was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the whole ordering process smooth and welcoming. You can tell they take pride in great customer service.
One of my favorite parts? The DIY salsa bar! You can mix your own green or red sauce to your liking and fill up little cups to go. It’s a fun, personal touch that you don’t find at every spot.
Also, if you’re in a rush, their call-in orders are lightning fast. I placed a pickup order once, and it was hot and ready by the time I walked in.
The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is just because the seating area can get a little crowded during peak hours — but that’s just a sign of how popular they are. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving solid tacos and speedy service!

I was in the area and decided to stop in and get a few tacos for breakfast. We ate the bean and cheese and potato and egg taco there. I then ordered four fajita tacos to go. You gotta love this place, as it is one of the best, if not the best places to get tacos in san antonio.

It was time to revisit a fantastic taco place (IMO). I stopped in with a family member to get some breakfast tacos, and took 4 fajitas tacos for snacks.
I encourage you to give this place a try. I do not believe you will be disappointed.

Came here to start our day and it did not disappoint. We grabbed 2 breakfast tacos per person and 3 for me, that was way too many. Most normal people 1 is plenty and 2 was enough for me. They are huge and packed full of meat. I had the trash can which had a little bit of everything, the fajita, and the barbacoa. Other family members had the bacon and egg and chicken fajita as well. Each one was packed full of meat on a warm fresh tortilla. The salsa is self serve and the green creamy sauce was my fav.

They are over pricing here. There are 2 other locations that aren’t doing that. Staying true to its original pricing. I would suggest going to the other locations off Huebner & I-10 or off wurzbach. Original owner is still doing it right.

Tacos N Salsa is one of those local gems that reminds you why San Antonio is the taco capital of Texas. The tortillas are light, fluffy, and clearly made with care — the kind that make every bite better. I tried the asada taco and the bacon and egg taco, and both were excellent. The asada was perfectly seasoned and tender, while the bacon and egg taco had that ideal balance of crispy and soft.
The service was quick and friendly, and the food came out fresh and hot. If you’re looking for a place that serves authentic, well-made breakfast and lunch tacos with homemade tortillas that melt in your mouth, Tacos N Salsa should be on your list.

Our whole office loves Tacos n’ Salsa—it’s our go-to spot for lunch! The tacos are consistently delicious, and the salsa is always fresh and flavorful. While it may cost a little more than some other taco places, the quality, taste, and portion sizes make it well worth it.
The staff is fast, friendly, and always helpful, which makes grabbing lunch during a busy workday super convenient. On top of that, the location is easy to get to, so it’s become a regular stop for us. If you’re looking for great tacos with great service, this is definitely the place.

My wife had the bacon and egg plate, and I had 2 of the trash tacos. Both were excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. The place is a little small, but that didn’t matter. I definitely recommend Tacos n’ Salsa and we will go back the next time we’re in San Antonio.

He followed up quickly, gave me clear pricing, and made the whole process so easy. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everyone enjoyed it! Highly recommend for both dining in and catering.

This place is so good!
1. The employees are so nice. I feel terrible about not paying attention to names, I kind of got too excited with the food . The cashier was able to have a conversation even with a line. She smiled and genuinely seemed, friendly. There was a guy filling the the pico de Gallo and he was working quickly and still had time for a conversation. It sounds silly but I feel like there are so few employees that are actually nice that this was a very pleasant surprise. They are super fast and bring the food to your table, even better!
2. The tacos are amazing. My husband told me to try the trash can and I wanted to the bacon and potato. Both so good and so full. The tortillas are the perfect consistency -thick enough to support the food but not doughy.
3. The prices! 5 tacos, 2 drinks, and chips under $16.
Update- went for lunch today and also scored a breakfast taco (they have breakfast all day). Walked in and every table is full and yet three employees still stopped to welcome us in. Awesome place!
