I travel a lot and eat Mexican at least once a week and in over 25 states so I think I know a little about Mexican food. This place was amazing and the service was excellent. I had the Lunch Texas Fajitas and it was enough food for two. The salsa was full of flavor and the chips were thin, warm and crispy. Our waiter was super nice and very attentive. He was handing you a refill while you were taking your last sip. No complaints here. I wish I would have found this place a lot sooner. Best Mexican food in Monroe hands down.

Awesome service and great food! Decided to try something different this time. I normally get the fish tacos, which are fantastic, but I decided to try my son’s favorite: Tacos Hawaiianos. This hot sauce they bring with those is absolutely delicious, as is the rest of the dish. Would recommend the fish tacos or tacos hawaiianos!

We tried Tacos and Beer tonight. The chips and salsa were exceptional! Our server was very attentive and on point with the order, he didn’t miss a beat. Prices aren’t bad for D.T. Monroe but the beer was a little pricey. Our meal was prepared in about eight minutes. The meats were seasoned well but they were all cooked a bit over well+, rendering them chewy and dry, all the way around the table which is never a good look. I felt the ground beef could use a good bit more of cumin and onion. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. The black beans lacked any seasoning and the refried beans lacked lard. These little details are important to me to make the meal! Again, service was exceptional!

Tacos and beer delicious and authentic. The California burrito is so yummy and their mole sauce is on point. The servers were friendly, and the serving sizes are generous. Also, the chihuahua cheese is sooo good!

I really like the food here and the margaritas. We were told 20 minute wait time. But was seated in about 10 minutes. After that the service was pretty slow. But it was really busy. Not a very big place and it was really crowded. But food and drinks were good. Will give another try. Forgot the name of my meal. But basically like fajitas with cheese on top. It was good. Husband got the tacos and said they were really good. Good price for good food
