Tried out a new Mexican Food Drive thru. Didn’t have the best of ratings but sometimes these are the gems.

Food: Mid at best, a little bland but definitely not bad. Salsa was good and had good flavor

Service: was good! Only major turnoff which will make me give service a hit was charging for refills. I just spent $50+ on food for 3 and you want to charge me $2.10 for a refill on a cup full of ice? Bad

I have picked up food here while in Vegas many times. If you are a staying at the Strat it’s easy to walk to. The neighborhood is a little rough as you are no longer in the tourist areas of the strip and the facility is a little run down. However, the food is Mexican cuisine at its finest. Whether I am passing through or staying in Vegas, its always on my radar. First time I ate here was about 15 years ago and the food has remained just as good every time I have been back.

Would definitely stop again! Birria was done well. Steak was good, my only complaint is the nacho cheese instead of just shredded but that’s just personal preference. The fish taco was great, didn’t love the chipotle in the crema but again, that’s just my preference. Everything was still great. My favorite was the bean and cheese burrito though. YUM!

Don’t order the Birria. It’s not made out of goat’s meat. It’s made out of beef. Yet, they charge as if it was made out of Chivo. The cashier never mentioned any different, Not cool at all.

After a long day of walking the Strip and sightseeing, we stopped by Tacos El Mexico for a late-night bite. We split a burrito, which we were able to customize with all meat, half Carne Asada and half Al Pastor. It was absolutely delicious! The salsa packed a spicy kick, which we really enjoyed.

I definitely recommend this spot, especially for a late-night snack, it really hits the spot after a busy day.

We liked it so much that we came back another day to try the fries, and they were just as amazing. A must-try!

Went here for shrimp tacos or burritos they had both GREAT! But the shrimp were old and recooked looked like they threw in some battered shrimp with some old refried shrimp that were overcooked. I asked for sour cream in it, they said it was added but it never appeared in any bites I took out of it. The flavor was just off, I asked for no I ions but thise were in there. maybe we went at the wrong time but I won’t be back

Listen, you don’t come to this place because it serves the best food in Vegas. No, you come here because it’s convenient, accessible, and the food is great for those late nights after partying all over Vegas.

This is food that satisfies cravings – not your desire to eat the most authentic, elegant, or gourmet tacos, enchiladas, or burritos that can be found anywhere in Vegas. For all those visitors that leave one- or two-star reviews, they misunderstand the target audience of this restaurant.

This restaurant is good and the food they serve is perfectly fine for what it’s meant to achieve. Go here when you’re tired and want something that is going to satisfy your hunger and make you feel comfortable, go here when you’re craving nostalgic tacos or burritos that “hit the spot”, go here when you want affordable food and something that you don’t have to impress anyone. This place is for those moments when it’s just you and you want to be happy.

Overall, this area doesn’t have alot of great nom-birra options. You’ll have to go north for better options

We ordered tacos (cabeza, asada, buce, pastor) and menudo. It’s simple and okay. I wouldn’t think too much about it. We may revisit this location and their mt Charleston Rd location again due to lack of better casual places per area. Certain tacos meats are decent. Both green and red sauces are pretty spicy; not mild. The red sauce is a bit smokey and has flavor. For the area, I’d recommend this place for certain taco proteins, or a different taco restaurant for birra.

My cabeza was okay. It needed flavor or salt, and the red sauce can only help so much. The SO thought the rest of what he got was decent for him. Tortilla is just flour, and can be a little flakey/dry. I feel many of these places is just about how to order? Our taco proteins seemed okay but not the best.

Can feel sketchy ppl here at times (people trying to sell you a tv inside, homeless, etc) but no physical harm done so it’s fine so far?

Menudo is simple. Just the protein in it with side tortillas. It does kinda hits the spot for quick fast menudo.
