Instantly jumped to my TOP Tacos in the bay area!
I had the super taco Ely with asada, and a regular carnitas taco. They were so good I ordered a third (pastor). Their tortillas come out warm too, a nice added touch.
Oh and very dog friendly!

2nd time having Tacos Mexicanos Don Ely cater our daughter’s bday party and these tacos were the highlight of our party. The couple has always been super nice to us, and the steak, chicken, and carnitas tacos are to die for. Highly recommend visiting their taco truck for lunch or dinner, or inquiring about catering options!

The staff is so warm and friendly it feels like you’re having lunch at your Mom’s house. The portions are large so my husband and I split a burrito and ate some tortillas chips with the best salsa!

Stumbled upon Don Ely’s truck while out on a walk with my family. My husband and I loved their super tacos – so fresh, great flavor & wonderful service.
A few days later we came back and asked to have them cater our daughter’s birthday. So glad they were available as their street tacos were delicious & perfect for our party!
We look forward to more family walks to their truck & to having them cater more of our parties in the future!

Tried it today for the first time 7/8
We ordered a Super Quesadilla of Asada and 3 Pastor tacos. The Asada was good, however not much meat very little being that it was a Super Quesadilla so I can imagine the meat they put on a regular size one Pastor tacos not great they were small and not enough meat on them in my opinion.
I give it to them that they weren’t overly greasy, but maybe that’s why they weren’t as flavorful? In my opinion lol maybe it’s just me and I’m just used to greasier tacos Customer service by the Lady that helped us not sure if she’s the owner or not but she wasn’t very patient with us when it came to take our order. She was more in a hurry to take our order with no line mind you then to give us time to figure out what we wanted being that it was our first time and not knowing the menu, it seemed that she got a bit irritated with that ♀️ Maybe it was just today unfortunately for us? But hopefully a better experience for others.

Stopped by for some quick tacos. Both the Al pastor and asada were divine, and the folks running it were great! Just bummed we don’t live close enough to go here often. They said they’ll have barbacoa on the weekends starting in September.
