Little neighborhood mexican restaurant with friendly atmosphere. Ordered the Carne Asada Nachos and they were Awesome!! More than enough for two to share and every chip was like a little mini-taco. Best nachos I’ve had in a very long time. Not the easiest place to find, but definitely worth the trek.

Had a potato taco and a carne asada taco. The crispy shell was homemade but was overdone and close to burnt. Potato taco very tasteless even with all the toppings from the salsa bar. Carne The meat inside the carne asada taco was good, but hard to enjoy because of the overdone crispy shells. My freind had a carne asada burrito which she said was really good. The service was really fast and the food was good and hot when it came to our table. Burrito prices seemed a little too high especially with no chips on the side. Drinks were too high for my pocketbook. Overall my first impression was not so great except for the great service.

Oh man I forgot about this place! We have a lot of amazing options for Mexican food in Ventura County but if I had to choose I think I can honestly say Tacos Mendoza is the best!
If you are calling in your order and don’t get through keep on trying. Their phones are so busy at times with orders they can’t keep up. That’s how good they are. I suggest just going in and eating there too. Not just great food but good people too.

Always a great food experience. Try some horchata! Hard shell tacos, taquitos, and burritos are my favs but the menu should have something for everyone.

I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and was shocked. It looked like a child sized portion and the cheese wasn’t even melted. Do better! If you want repeat customers, add more beans and provide a scoop of chips with every order.

Barely approaches mexican food. Soft taco plate meat was dry like jerky and no spice taste. Same for the beans and rice no taste. Similar for the flautas plate nothing going on.

Can’t beat a 2.00 carne asada beef tacos. Plus many more varieties for 2 bucks. Burritos, full plates with rice and beans. There is a nice salsa bar with salsa and Pico de gallo and delicious homemade chips that are free! The staff is friendly and there is plenty of easy access parking and seating. The tacos have a generous portion of meat and are very good.

I came in to buy some tacos and posole and immediately I was welcomed with a smiling face and great service. I really recommend coming to tacos Mendoza . Food is 10 out of 10 and the service is 10 out of 10. I am definitely coming back.
